Une bonne base!

J'ai reçu gratuitement la Base protectrice hydratante NYX dans le cadre du banc d'essai Chick Advisor!

La base a une texture gélifiée assez spéciale au toucher. Elle s'applique très bien et elle ne fait pas de peluches. Elle a un effet hydratant et frais très agréable pour la peau. Elle permet aussi de faire tenir le maquillage plus longtemps sur le visage.

J'ai bien aimé cette base.

Coolest primer

This primer has the coolest gel texture. It feels so refreshing when I apply it. This primer does make my skin look smooth under makeup. For me, it did not minimize the appearance of my pores. I like that it feels hydrating. I would recommend it to someone who wants to try a jelly primer or a hydrating primer.

It’s cool

I received this free for testing purposes from NYX and chickadvisor - all thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a big in between for me, I hated the texture but it looked cool, it’s such a neat idea I love the packaging but the feeling of it on my hands just felt SO weird
It was very cooling on the skin which felt really nice, and it applied well but took quite awhile to dry down and it was a bit sticky, I feel like it would work better for more oily skin.
It didn’t really pore fill however the makeup did last quite well with it on.

I definitely didn’t hate it, I just don’t know if I loved it.

I don’t Know if it was my skin but this made my foundation break apart . I’ll have to give it a go again and see what works . But this rating is only based on first impression

Worked for me and my dry skin

This primer has a unique texture, not like any skincare I've used before, and especially not a primer. It really does feel like jelly, and they give you a nice sized amount in the jar. Application is pretty easy, although product does dry fairly quickly (although stays tacky, but is no longer spreadable after). I didn't feel like this was the most hydrating product I've used, but definitely not bad. It ultimately did make my skin feel less dry, and it did keep my foundation on pretty well!

Love it!

It’s new, fun and creative for me that Nyx had come up with a Jelly Primer! I like the packaging especially the colour light pink that for me represents lightness and non-harmful ingredients which all describes this jelly primer. It’s colourless and odourless which I like because I have slightly sensitive skin and nose. It’s so easy to apply because it glides freely and it’s non-sticky at all. It has this little cooling effect which would be perfect in the summer time too! Definitely a must for makeup lovers!

Feel pretty neutral about this one

This seems like a fairly good quality product. I've never used a jelly primer before and I must admit it was a little bit difficult to get an even amount out of the tub using just my fingertips and without getting it all up my nails!

This made my skin look quite nice after using it, but since I have oily skin this was just a little bit too greasy for my liking. I wouldn't choose it over the primer I currently use.

Not bad

This primer has a very interesting texture. I don't find it prolongs my makeup weartime and I don't find it overly hydrating. I get basically the same effect without using it.

What a revolutionary Primer

I got this product complimentary from Chick Advisor for testing and review. The jelly like texture of Primer is one of a kind that I have tried Absorbs well on skin and gives the skin a natural glow that lasts all day.

So Innovative!

I have to say right off the bat that I was pretty skeptical about trying this product when I first received it. I know that jelly products have slowly been entering the beauty world in the form of highlighters but this is the first time I'm hearing about a jelly PRIMER. Either way, I obviously tried it and was pretty excited to see that it was hydrating which is key for these cold oncoming months when my skin feels like the Sahara desert. The jelly consistency was super weird when I first touched it - which I will say I only did once, and then continued scooping it out with a beauty spatula - and kinda fun I'm not gonna lie. I also grabbed a lot the first time, after which I realized that a little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Upon application it felt very much like a water based moisturizer like the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line or the Belif Water Bomb, which I really enjoyed. It applied quite nicely and basically absorbed into the skin, leaving it a little tacky which I don't mind. I used the Nyx Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil and the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye concealer over it and both blended reaaaaaally nicely with this primer. As for longevity, I put the product on at 7am and my makeup stayed on until I took it off at 5pm before heading to the gym, save for the occasional powder touch-ups which I always do anyway.

Overall I'm quite pleased with this primer and will definitely continue using it. I do wish it had more a pore-filling aspect but that is probably my only grievance.
