I found this serum felt nourishing in my hair. The pump applicator is easy to use and to control amount of product. I found it works best for fly aways on dry hair

Sealing in Moisture Without the Weight

I’ve tried this sealing serum a few times now on both dry and wet hair. It is very lightweight and truly does seal in moisture and eliminates frizz. A small amount goes a long way. The scent is quite strong though and that is one downside of the product. In regards to effectiveness I feel it works better on dry hair than wet (the results lasts longer). Overall, if the scent wasn’t as potent I would recommend this product.

Great serum for thicker hair

The OGX Bonding Protein + Repair Sealing Serum smells lovely and adds a nice shine while smoothing and strengthening hair. However, I found it a bit heavy for my curls when used with my regular styling cream, which caused my curls to fall by day 2. It’s paraben-free and dye-free, which is a great feature for gentle hair care. I received this product in exchange for my honest review and think it might work better for other hair types or routines.

Smells great!

I loved the smell of this! I'm not convinced it made a huge noticeable difference in my hair strength. But the smell is so good I would continue to use it!

Need to wash my hair every day because of it.

The OGX Bonding Protein Repair Sealing Serum delivers on that front line; after a week of use, at first I can see a difference in the strength and gloss of my hair. But because my hair tends to get oily more quickly, I've found that I need to wash it every day, which isn't ideal for my routine. Although the product performs as promised, I give it a 3/5 because of the additional upkeep needed. It works well, but it's not as practical as I had thought!

It's just okay

I’m guilty of not cutting my hair until I can’t stand the split ends anymore.

I tested the OGX Bond Protein Repair to see if it could tie me over until my hair stylist was back from vacation.

After 5 washes, your hair is supposed to be 5x stronger and 3x smoother.
While my hair looked smooth and felt stronger in the mornings by the evening it was still brittle and tangled. I wasn’t expecting a miracle, so I’d rate this a 3/5.

Gel based serum

My first reaction was that it was sticky but once it dried out ,blends well to be soft, It works great when applied on damp hair . Definitely reduced frizz and dryness in humid weather but stays only for few hours

Helps a bit

I have bleached ends of my hair and so it is quite dry at the bottom. I tried the serum on the ends and noticed a very slight difference. It looked a little greasy, but didn't feel greasy at all. It did leave the ends feeling slightly softer, but I didn't notice anything else. I was not offered the full set with shampoos so that maybe could make a difference.

Didn’t do much for frizz

Looking at the bottle, you’d think it has a thick texture, but the consistency of this serum is actually more gel-like. Because of its lightweight texture, I feel like I can use several pumps without it weighing my hair down.

I used two pumps on semi-damp hair and liked how easy it was to apply. My hair felt the same with no tackiness, but it did feel softer and smoother. It didn’t do much for controlling frizz, though. I had no issues reapplying the serum the next day on dry hair.

It's works as is an affordable option

This serum helps smooth and strengthen damaged hair without feeling heavy or greasy. It tames frizz, adds shine, and makes hair feel softer after styling. A great option for keeping hair healthy and manageable, especially if you use heat or color treatments. Though I am use to oil textures for treatments rather than gels.
