Smells good
This serum smells good and easy to carry around. My hair does feel moisturized but I haven't used this for too long to see any noticeable effects.will have to use longer to see.
Lightweight and effective
I tried OGX Bond Protein Repair Sealing Serum for 10 days and find it a good choice for those with Asian straight hair seeking to restore shine, strength, and smoothness. Even though, my hair is long and gets oily easily, this oil feels light and brings shine without weighing it down. I find it comparable to other high end oil that I bought from Sephora with similar results.
I feel the serum alone is not enough for my hair
I’ve been using the OGX® Bond Protein Repair Sealing Serum and have to say—it’s been a great addition to my hair routine. After using it and straightening my hair, it looked gorgeously shiny, which is not easy to achieve with my thick, dry, frizzy hair! I’ve also noticed that my ends feel a bit stronger and less prone to breakage, which is a big plus.
I definitely plan to keep using it, but to really give the range a fair try, I think I’d need to use the full system. That said, I do need a trim, so I’m excited to see how much better it works after that. Overall, a solid product that’s helping my hair feel a little more loved!
Might be a new addition to my haircare routine
I straighten or curl my hair daily. Therefore, I was excited to try a product that might repair and make my hair healthier. I used this product for about a week. It went on well but was a bit greasy at first. However, it definitely absorbed quickly. It was hard to say at first, but I think after using it several times, I noticed my hair was a bit softer, particularly at the ends. I think to see the full effect I would need to use the entire line rather than just a single product though, which would mean a complete chnage over to a new haircare routine that I'm not ready to do. I will continue using it for now and look forward to seeing if it has any effect on my dyed hair colour vibrance over time.

Good serum, little goes a long way
This serum is the hero item in the line in my opinion. It really does give my hair a silky, soft feel and a little goes a very long way. I am not sure yet if it is actually helpful with repairing my hair though. I have blonde hair that gets coloured every 8 weeks so I do have some damage to repair so I was hopeful, with high expectations. If you have hair that is not so damaged then you would probably love this.
NOT GREASY!
For the last 3 weeks I've incorporated the OGX Bond Protein Repair Sealing Serum into my hair routine! I apply to wet hair right out of the shower and massage it into my hair. Once I notice it's dry, I apply a little more to dry hair to help with any frizz! My hair feels smoother and looks healthier overall. I especially love that it doesn’t leave a greasy residue, even when I apply it to dry hair. It absorbs nicely and makes my hair feel soft! I do find it's easier to brush my hair when I have the serum on my hair. After a few washes using the full system (shampoo, conditioner, and this serum), I’ve noticed less breakage and my ends don’t feel as brittle.
Highly recommend pairing this with the rest of the line for best results.
Might work better for colored hair
Overall I like the feel of this serum but I’m not sure it works well for my hair texture. I have thick 4c hair and I feel like I’d have to use an entire bottle to enjoy the benefits of this serum. I like the shine it provides with initial application but I might have to use it for at least 3 months to have an honest feedback
Strong fragrance
I received a set of OGX® Bond Protein Repair Shampoo, OGX® Bond Protein Repair Conditioner, and OGX® Bond Protein Repair Sealing Serum, from Butterly and OGX.
OGX® Bond Protein Repair Shampoo
This shampoo delivers healthier-looking hair after just one wash. It protects the hair’s lipid and protein barrier while gently cleansing, leaving it strong, smooth, and shiny.
The texture is thick and creamy, and you can feel its richness while applying. However, the fragrance is quite strong and may not be to everyone’s liking. After rinsing, my hair feels soft and refreshed.
It’s free from parabens and sulfates, which is a great plus!
OGX® Bond Protein Repair Conditioner
This conditioner complements the shampoo perfectly while also protecting the lipid and protein barrier of the hair.
The texture is lighter and smoother than the shampoo, making it easy to apply. After use, my hair feels soft, manageable, and easy to comb.
It is formulated without parabens or sulfates, ensuring a gentler care routine.
OGX® Bond Protein Repair Sealing Serum
This dual-action bond repair serum strengthens and smooths hair, showing visible improvement after five washes.
It has a lightweight gel texture that absorbs quickly without leaving hair greasy or heavy. It’s designed to revitalize damaged hair, making it look healthier and stronger.
After about two weeks of using the full set, I’ve noticed shinier, healthier-looking hair with reduced frizz. My hair feels stronger and more manageable.
Overall, I really enjoyed this set, However, if you are sensitive to strong fragrances, this might not be the best option for you.
Smoother and healthier hair
Been using the OGX Bond Protein Repair Sealing Serum for a bit now, and I’m starting to notice a difference - my hair feels smoother and less fragile. The gel-like texture is nice and doesn’t leave any greasiness, and it’s easy to work into damp hair. It’s not an instant miracle, but with daily use, it really does help damaged hair look and feel healthier. Definitely worth a try if your strands need some extra love.
Frizzy hair is tamed!
I have dry dehydration damaged frizzy curly thick hair - and have a hard time finding products that make a difference. I’ve used this after the last couple washes and already see a visible difference to the eye and to touch. It’s shinier softer and smoother. Will keep using and this might be my magic healer!
