I love adding new products into my haircare routine that is pretty simple these days: shampoo and conditioner. I use a hair dryer in winter, which leads to split ends and damaged hair. This serum is so lightweight, smells great and makes my hair smooth and easy to style. I haven't used it long enough to see if I would repurchase it, but it seems like a good product overall.

OGX Bond Protein Serum

As someone who uses a lot of hot styling tools, I have to ensure that my natural hair doesn’t get damaged and stays protected. I feel like this serum is perfect for that. It has a super light weight consistency and keeps my hair super smooth.

Love the feel

I honestly love that way it worked with the shampoo and conditioner and made my hair look and feel super smooth and shiny. The only part I didn't love is I felt it made my hair look greater faster but overall a great product and for others without super thin hair I'm sure it would be perfect. It did really help with my frizz.

Super smooth hair

Wow I was really not expecting this to make my hair so smooth after the 1st use. I did not use this with its shampoo and conditioner. I used what I have on hand and applied the smoothing serum into my palm 3pumps and put it on my wet hair right after showering. I let me hair dry naturally and it made it so smooth when it dried. I like the scent but I do find it abit too strong. If it was slightly less scented it would be even better. The size isn't very big so I don't see it lasting long. I have shoulder length hair that is also partly bleached. And it really made a big difference. I'm impressed. My hair is not only smooth but it's not weighed down or greasy which is a double win.

Not Heavy!

I really like this serum. It isn’t oily and doesn’t weigh my fine hair down at all. It also adds shine, and not many serums actually do that to my hair.

Give it a Go

I was surprised to try this serum as I’ve usually used natural and home remedies for my hair but I was interested to try something new! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as this works great and even adds some shine and volume. I just wish it was less sticky at times so use in small amounts.

I’ve always had trouble with frizzy, wavy hair, and finding a serum that works well has been a bit of a journey. I’ve tried a few that didn’t live up to expectations, so I was cautious when trying the OGX Bond Repair Serum.

It definitely smooths my hair, softens it, and helps reduce frizz, which is exactly what I need. The scent is pleasant and subtle, not overwhelming. It works by sealing in moisture and smoothing the hair, which definitely helps with frizz control.

However, it’s not a miracle product. While it does a decent job, I wouldn’t say it’s anything extraordinary. I’ve found that a little goes a long way—too much can make my hair feel slightly weighed down. Overall, it’s a solid option for managing frizz, but it doesn’t quite stand out from other serums I’ve used. Still, if you’re looking for a reliable serum, this one gets the job done.

It smelled nice and I loved the shine too

I felt like my hair did not have any issues when I applied eat when blowdrying because I prepped it with this serum. It feels really nice and its not greasy at all

Repairing my postpartum hair

After having my daughter I noticed that I was loosing my hair and experiencing more breakage. Now that I am in the regrowth period the bond protein repair sealing serum is helping make my hair stronger. It is helping support areas that are damaged while also making it softer and smoother.
