Lightweight Serum and Stronger hair

After applying, I have noticed that the lightweight sealing serum helped revitalize my dry hair. I have been using this serum twice weekly and noticed the slight difference. My hair looked and felt softer, smoother, stronger and shiny. This gel-like formula did not make my hair greasy or weigh it down which was a plus point. The serum was very quick and easy to apply and only a tiny amount was needed. I absolutely love the subtle scent based on the amount I used on my hair and felt like I received a salon hair treatment everytime I use it. My hair feels so much healthier and I feel continous use of this product is more effective and beneficial.

Smells great and smoothing

This serum feels light and offers a bit of hydration with smoothing. The scent is the best part of this! It pairs well with the rest of the products in the bond repair line. My hair feels stronger, softer and smoother after using for a week.

Smooth and healthy hair

This serum has been excellent for my dry and frizzy hair that also has damage from heat styling tools. I use a pump in wet or dry hair - both times my hair is left looking smoother and healthier. I notice that a lot of frizz I have is instantly tamed and smoothed. I use the product twice a week and notice stronger and healthier hair! My hair is not left looking greasy either as the product texture feels very hydrating and light, not at all oily or heavy.

Smoother hair and shorter prep time

This serum does a stellar job smoothening my strands both pre- and post-blowdrying. This gel is a tad sticky at first but then applies well, making my hair feel silky and smooth like glass. My blowdrying was faster and created less frizz and flyaways, so it took way less time with my straightener. And there were less strands on my floor and in my hairbrush! Bye-bye breakage! My hair has never looked better or felt stronger.

Okay, I’ve been testing the OGX® Bond Protein Repair line for a little over a week now—using the shampoo, conditioner, and sealing serum—and here’s the honest tea:

Great shine effect!

I have been testing out this OGX Bond Protein Repair Sealing Serum I received free from Butterly for testing and review purposes for the past week and I have to say it’s quite nice! It has a very pleasant, light scent and the texture is so silky. I applied it on damp hair and found it distributed nicely and absorbed effortlessly. Once I dried and styled as usual, I found my hair to be very shiny and manageable, while remaining lightweight. My hair strands also felt stronger than before use. I did not notice much difference in regards to repair, but I feel like with using the entire haircare system of shampoo, conditioner and the bonding serum, would have produced more noticeable results compared to just using the serum on its own. Overall, I like the added shine and lightweight feel of this serum and would recommend it!

Didn’t do much for frizz

Looking at the bottle, you’d think it has a thick texture, but the consistency of this serum is actually more gel-like. Because of its lightweight texture, I feel like I can use several pumps without it weighing my hair down.

I used two pumps on semi-damp hair and liked how easy it was to apply. My hair felt the same with no tackiness, but it did feel softer and smoother. It didn’t do much for controlling frizz, though. I had no issues reapplying the serum the next day on dry hair.

Soft, Healthy Hair

I’m able to use this serum both on my wet hair and on dry hair. It never leaves my hair feeling or looking greasy, which is impressive because my fine hair gets weighed down by products very easily! It’s a great cure for frizz. I use this to leave my hair feeling soft, silky, and strong.
