I'm a part time cloth diaper mom, but I use disposables overnight and also did for the newborn period.
The swaddlers line is great, especially for the smaller sizes and new parents. It has the handy indicator line that quickly tells you if the diaper is wet. I found the fit to be quite good and I've never had issues with leaks around the legs. I have had a rare blowout from the back at the top, but that happens with any disposable periodically. They're nice and thin and I haven't had any issues with skin sensitivity on my little one,
I would prefer that the newborn size has an umbilical cord cutout like Huggies, but that's a minor issue as it only is relevant for the first 1-2 weeks.
I love how soft these diapers are, they are not rough or scratchy at all. The inner mesh liner provided is amazing for newborn babies as it soaks everything up very effectively. I will not use any other diaper for my newborn.
The only brand I will buy! Great value, soft, great fit and absorbent! I have no reason to try any other brand at this point. Plus they are available to size 5 now!
I've tried huggies and the pampers baby dry, and I prefer the swaddlers. Fit better and smell better too.
Fantastic when you begin to be a mom and you don't really know if your little love have done some pee-pee in his diaper! But when you are use to it, you don't even check the little line anymore.
Only negative point, for less diapers than Pampers babydry, it cost more...
These are the diapers used in the Maternity ward at the hospital where my babies were born. I love them! The fit was never to loose or to tight, although I had to switch up sizes before the weight suggested because my kids have long torsos. I never had a linty or leaky diaper using these! I thoroughly appreciated the indicator strip as it makes knowing when to change a breeze. I kept my kids in Pampers Swaddlers until they started getting ready to walk, and have happily recommended to every new Mom that asks.
Love love love these. They are the only diapers I used on all 3 of my babies. I love that they feel soft and they fit all 3 kids well. They never leaked unless it was a full on blow out (and I haven't tried a diaper yet that could handle those). As other reviewers said, once my kids got older and slept more than 8 hours, I had to move to baby dry because the swaddled would not hold the pee effectively. I tried store brands and other leading brands but didn't like the feel of them and I dealt with constant leaks.
These diapers were not bad when you have a new born baby, I found that as my daughter got to be a month - 2 months old everytime I used then she would pee once and the diaper would be very very squishy. Probably not a good feeling for my beautiful little girl. I felt bad for for her, I couldnt imagine how I would feel, so after that I never used them again!
My granddaughter is 13 months old and ever since the day she was born my daughter has not used anything else, even when there is a big mess on the inside of the diaper, there is never a mess on the outside.. My granddaughter is a big girl and already in size 4 so thank goodness the Swaddlers are available in size 5 too.
Best diapers ever. I feel you get bang for your buck with the swaddlers diapers. They don't leak, they are soft and gentle on the baby. They have the indicator strip on the diaper to let you know how wet they are. Worth while disposable diapers. They don't smell super chemically and I haven't had any diaper rash problems using these diapers. They wick away the moisture so the baby always seems dry.
