Good way for babies to get iron
First tried this with my niece on its own and that didn’t go well. She didn’t like it. We then tried it the next day with food and that seemed to work. I also tried it to see what it tastes like and it’s not that bad. Good way for children ages 0-3 to get iron. Healthy and easy to use.
Supplements iron deficiency but flavour is off
My toddler is on the lower range of the normal levels for iron so his doctor recommend he takes iron supplements. We've tried ferramax which only came in cherry flavour and he wasn't a fan. We came across Pediafer and I was glad it wasn't cherry flavour. He was willing to take it but reluctantly. It's better than Ferramax flavour wise and does the job but don't expect this to be a true fruit flavour where kids will not face a yucky face after taking it.
Great Product
I really like this brand. The liquid form makes dosing simple, and I appreciate that it’s designed for young children. The taste is not bad and the smell is lemony, so it goes great with food. It’s effective, but you do have to be careful with spills since it can stain.
Good for toodlers
Its really good for toddlers as i see improvement in complex of my toodler. Eventough the taste is little bitter compared to other brands it would be better if taste is improved.
Iron Supplements
As a mom, giving my baby an iron supplement was something I was nervous about at first, but it turned out to be a positive experience overall. After our pediatrician recommended it due to low iron levels, I started using a liquid iron supplement and quickly realized how important it was for my baby’s development.
The liquid form made it fairly easy to give, especially with the dropper included. While the taste wasn’t my baby’s favorite at first, it became easier over time, especially when given with milk or after feeding. I would recommend it to other parents who are in a similar situation and feeling unsure like I was.
PediaFer
We used PediaFer for a solution to support daily iron. This supplement is designed for ages 0-3. PediaFer contains iron salts, that are utilized to support red blood cell formation and function. We love that this iron is easy to add to food or beverage, with a light lemon flavour. I recommend this supplement for parents with young children.
Great Iron Supplement
This is perfect for any baby/toddler since you just put a few drops with food and there you go. It is so much easier compared to iron pills. I use it everyday and it is so convenient (easy to use and easy to store). Highly recommend it.
Good price but overwhelming taste
I love the dropper that attaches to the container! Lemon flavour also works well to mix with juice. However, nothing was able to offset the iron aftertaste. Other supplements hide it a bit better and also include b12, which this one doesn’t. It is a good price though.
iron super important for my little one
I was excited to try this PediaFer supplement in my child as her health and wellness is so important to me. Babies need so much iron once they move to solid foods to support their quick development and my little one has recently become selective with foods so making sure she gets her iron has become increasingly difficult. I thought this would be a great way to ensure my little one gets what she needs. There is a strong metal taste and odor to the liquid and my little one really didn’t enjoy taking this on its own so we will have to experiment more mixing it in with different foods.
Easy to use for daily iron support
This was easy to give and fit nicely into our daily routine. I like that it can be added to food or given directly. The flavour is mild, and my toddler didn’t seem to mind it. Overall, a simple and convenient option for little ones.
