    Pixi Retinol Cleanser

Picked up the Pixi Retinol Jasmine cleanser just after my face broke out pretty bad from consuming too much dairy 😬 I can’t say I didn’t know better 😰 I’m happy to report my skin is almost entirely cleared up, though I doubt this product is the reason given I’ve only tried it for around 2 days đŸ€”

There’s a good article by LindaLibraLoca (Doctor Anne) on the Retinyl Palmitate in this product and the overall ingredients/effectiveness of the “retinol” in this product that is a lot more informative than I could be in regards to that.

I will say as someone who tries and uses skincare that I have really enjoyed this product in my minimal contact so far, and that it hasn’t caused any immediate reaction with my skin. It doesn’t have a strong smell, and that’s something I appreciate. It doesn’t lather up a lot with water, either. It sort of stays in it’s full richness, which I also like. My skin doesn’t feel overly dry after using and I don’t experience any redness or irritation.

I was glad to find this discounted at Target, it made me more likely to purchase for trial. I know some think of Pixi as a cheap skincare brand because it’s affordable, but I don’t believe price determines how effective skincare is or how nice the ingredients are. 💜
