Good tasting plant-based power bar

I was lucky to be chosen to try this by ChickAdvisor #gotitfree. I had this as an afternoon snack today, and it totally hit the spot. It is a bit sweet, as well as salty, so it takes care of all cravings! It's texture is much better than some other plant-based protein bars - not at all mushy as a lot of them tend to be. The grams of protein are a bit lower than some of the other bars, but I'm not complaining - 10 grams is still pretty good! And I'm willing to sacrifice a little of that for a better tasting bar. I preferred the cashew over this one, but I'd still recommend this one for anyone looking for a plant-based protein bar.

To hard

I got these free from ChickAdvisor for reviewing purposes. First off these bars a good size. Also backed full of a lot of good stuff. Unfortunately I would not buys these they way to hat. It would be a lot better if it was a bit soft.

Tastes Great

Was super excited to receive my Powerbar Plant Protein Almond, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate in the mail through ChickAdvisor #gotitfree. I ate this as a morning snack and really digged the taste! Perfect mix of sweet and salty. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would consider purchasing when on sale in stores!

I tried this bar on an empty stomach..it was good. It tasted just like the packaging said it would. Now i'm not sure why or how, but it had a bit of a weird smell. I also ate the cashew protein bar and it was good, no smell.

That's my only little negative, because I thought the smell would translate into taste.. but it didnt..

Bon dépanneur mais pas ma saveur favorite!

J'apprécie le fait que PowerBar offre une barre protéine (10G) Végétalienne, sans Gluten & sans Soja mais l'arrière goût de cette saveur ne me plait pas. Question de goût personnel !!!
Note: La version Noix de Cajou, Caramel Salé & Chocolat Noir est cependant DÉLICIEUSE.

Taste good but to hard to chew

I loved the opportunity to try almond sea salt and dark chocolate protein bar. The taste was great. One of my favorite combinations. However, I felt the bar was extremely hard to chew. It started to hurt my jaw by the time I finished it. It was so tough my 4 year old daughter couldn't even bite it when she tried to taste it. If it was softer I would definitely purchase again but I unfortunately will not purchase this currently due to the toughness to chew.

Yummy snack for on-the-go!

PowerBar Plant Protein's Almond, Sea Salt, and Dark Chocolate flavour is a nice combination of sweet and salty flavours. The bar itself is really filling and I can only eat half of one as a snack before feeling full in between meals. Each bite is nice and crunchy, unlike some granola and protein bars I've tried. Best of all, it doesn't taste distinctly like a protein bar. I would reccomend this snack for people who are constantly on-the-go as it's an easy snack to slip into your backpack!

Delicious, but macros are out of line

OMG this is so tasty and I really wanted to be able to give it a better score. If it was a granola bar / candy bar I would have been all over it marketed as a better for you candy bar. It completely passes as that. But as a protein bar I just can't give it a passing grade. yes. It does have 10g protein. BUT fat 13g. carbs 22g. sugar 10g. I do love that it is non gmo and no artificial sugars. I think Power Bar tried hard on this one but still has some tweaking to do. Get the macros better in line and I would love to try an new version of this. #gotitfree

Great snack For on the go, with a ton of protein.

I love these new PowerBars - such an upgrade from the PowerBars of my parent’s time; with its amazing new packaging, plus I love the emphasis on plant based protein, and I love the taste. Makes me feel like it’s a fancy bar from a health food store (without the price tag of a health food store). I enjoyed the almond flavour a lot and the whole bar tasted great, but my only feedback is that the bar was a bit tough to bite into and wasn’t as soft and chewy as I’d imagined. Still, it was delicious. It gave me extra energy to go to the gym and it is a great post-gym recovery snack. I told lots of friends and colleagues about it, especially the friends I work out with since we share pre-gym meals together.

I would buy them occasionally

These bars taste amazing! They truely taste like a delicious treat. The only problem I had was the sugar content which is 10 grams per bar. I feel if they lowered the sugar content it would be something I’d buy regularly. If this isn’t a problem for you, I think you will love them! They have a nice balance of salty and sweet, and they are huge! If you need something quick I feel they would keep you full for awhile. They also have 10 grams of protein which is great. You can’t taste the protein power in them, which I definitely appreciate! All in all - pretty good bars!
