Great protein intake

I did like the product, the taste and crunchiness, but it is too sweet to my personal taste. I think it is a pretty interesting alternative of protein intake after a work out and snacks.. do recommend it!

Great snack bar

This snack bar has many ingredients which I sometimes look for in a protein bar. However, When considering the price of the pack of snack bars, I would not buy it. It is a bit over the cost of what I would buy for snack bars. Also, this bar had a bit of a weird taste to it but I believe it was from the salt and the caramel. Overall, this snack bar is decent and I would recommend it, but because of the price, I would not personally buy it.

Great Salty Snack

I am very busy and don't always pack enough to get me through the day. I loved how this was salty as I am not a into sweet items. The chocolate coating was great too

Good bar

For the price and health value I probably wouldn't repurchase again due to these circumstances. I did how ever love the taste, they tasted pretty good. Would I recommend them, probably not due to price but the ingredients are good minus the salt and calorie intake, if it wasn't for that then I would recommend them.

Nice to see more Vegan Bars!

Recently I had the chance to try out she POWERBAR in Cashew, salted Caramel and dark chocolate because Chickadvisor was kind enough to send it to me! #gotitfree

This protein bar is kind of an exciting new product because PowerBar is a well known brand and they aren't typically known for Vegan products.
The Cashew bar has a pleasant flavour but it's a bit too sticky and way to sweet for me (my teeth actually hurt while I was eating it!) I felt like it's one bite away from a cavity.
Although I have to say I really did enjoy the chocolate bottom aspect of the bar, if the bar had the chocolate coating all over the bar versus the syrup on top I would love this!
What I did really enjoy about this bar was the fact that it had 10 grams of protein, and no soy or gluten!

Overall I think if you don't mind sweets or if you're in a pinch for finding something vegan on the go than this bar is a better option compared to other bars chalked full of soy and who know's what else!

Tasty!

Was excited to try these bars! The cashew one is a tad on the sweet side and that can be toned down a notch. But they are chocolaty and yummy! Like that they are vegan/gluten-free and it's a decent sized snack bar. I would have to try them again, because I ate one as soon as I grabbed it from my mailbox and it almost broke off a tooth. Not sure if it was from being outside in the cold, but they were so stiff and it was very difficult to even bite off a piece!

Very tasty bar!

Out of the two flavours that i've tried, I believe this one is my favourite. Although it is a tad sweet for my liking, the description of how the bar tastes is spot on. The flavour of caramel hits your first and the dark chocolate helps balance out everything. The cashews aren't as evident as I thought they would be however. I do like that it doesn't have the weird whey protein after taste which is always welcome. Would buy these again but hopefully the make it a tad less sweet.

Solid vegan protein bar

Great protein bar for people looking for vegan options. I have to say this is a very good protein bar imo. The things I like about it are that it is gluten, and no soy! If it had soy I probably wouldn't buy them because of the estrogenic effect of soy. Another huge plus for me is that it contains no artificial sweeteners. There are two down sides for me are that there's too much sugar in it. For weight conscious people and just health in general sugar is the enemy. It would be fine for a pre-workout snack but the bar is pretty sweet and would probably still taste good with less sugar but still I'd rather sugar then artificial sweeteners. My final gripe is the palm kernel oil. I would prefer a different oil just because the fact that it's irresponsible since it threatens endangered species like the orangutan. Unless it is sourced responsibly then I wouldn't support this product. I also like that it is gmo free.

Pretty good

Very tasty, but a little too sweet for my palate. It's a good snack loaded with organic ingredients, but its no substitute for a protein shake. Overall, would recommend more if price was a bit less.

Delicious and Plant Protein

I #gotitfree through ChickAdvisor and this was supposed to help me regenerate after a workout. I would recommend this for anyone who is serious about exercise and natural foods. I did not like the sugar content and the fact that there was chocolate, but other than that it is a great energy boost. It is healthier compared to other alternatives on the market because it has plant protein and nuts.
