    This reminds me of an inexpensive version of MAC Studio Fix Fluid. I use the one for combo/oily skin. It it long lasting and oil absorbing. I don't like that it dries quickly, so you have to work quickly when applying it. Also, there isn't a big variety of shades to choose from so I did find this to be a bit redish (I use Toast). Great product, overall.

    I have a darker skin tone (I use toast), and oily skin. This is the only foundation I have used that doesn't melt off before the day is done as well as giving decent coverage. I also appreciate that it is one of the few high quality drugstore foundations that match my darker skin colour without giving it an ashy or pink hue.

    I just want to start by saying that I have Combination skin (my nose is oily, the rest of my face tends to be dry and flaky). Most liquid foundations melt off my face within 2 hours... this one lasts about 4 hours. The problem with this foundation is the color selection I got the lightest one which I believe was Soft Ivory, in the Combination/Oily Skin formula. I'll list the Pros and negatives of this product: PROS Formula covers well, great for red skin and acne scars! Lasts longer than most foundations (with powder overtop) about 4 hours I say, but it does slide alot on my face:/ CONS Slides around on face (especially nose) color selection stinks... my face is not pink, why these foundation companies think that everyone under the sun has orange and or pink skin is beyond me I got this for about twenty dollars which wouldnt be so bad if they sold a color that matched my face You have to blend this QUICKLY otherwise it will sink right into your face, and will look awful. The glass jar; so hard to get foundation out of it. Mine is a complete mess! Also, this foundation is the reason I now have acne all over my forehead. Having had acne since the 6th grade, I had never had acne on my forehead before using this foundation. I stopped using this more than 4 months ago, and my forehead is still healing! OVERALL; if you have dry skin or oily skin, this product is not for you.... color selection is limited in MY opinion, so unless your skin is pink/orange you would want to avoid this foundation.

    For reference, I bought this product in 150 Buff for combination/oily skin.

    Price 4/5: $14 is a bit much for a drugstore foundation, but since I consider the quality to be on par with MAC studio fix fluid, $14 is well worth it.

    Quality 3.5/5: The formula is very runny. Although it's oil-free, it's not fragrance free, so it may irritate people with sensitive skin. The mixture smells like soap with a tiny trace of paint. It is only SPF 6, so I really don't know why they bothered to put SPF in it at all. However, due to the low SPF content, it photographs okay with flash. Although the formula is runny, this foundation sets very quickly, so rather than dabbing it all over the face then blending it out, I would suggest concentrating on one area then moving on. Using a dry sponge to apply it will result in streaks, so wet the sponge first. This will also slow the quick drying time. The formula does have pretty good shine control, but makes my skin feel dry and a bit stiff when I'm wearing it. (I use less than a dime-size amount)

    Effectiveness 4/5: Although the consistency is different, I find that the finish is comparable to MAC studio fix fluid in the sense that it dries very matte, but not unpleasantly so. It has medium-buildable coverage, and can be built up quite a bit before looking overly cakey. Although it says it's for combination skin, I find that this product does tend to accentuate flakey areas of my face. Although this colour has predominantly pink undertones, and my skin has yellow undertones, it still blends pretty well into my neck.

    Packaging 2/5: The packaging looks like a dupe for MAC studio fix fluid, except that the lid doesn't have rounded edges or the matte rubber finish. I don't like that it's a screw-top bottle since bacteria can easily enter it, and I find that unhygienic.

    Overall, a good foundation to have. Good to have if you're unwilling to splurge on high-end foundations, but still want products similar in quality.

    I really like the texture of this foundation and I love that its sweat proof and water proof. The only problem I have with it is that I find it doesn't have good coverage. It is moisturizing though and doesn't dry out my skin.

    Alright... So, I bought the Revlon Colour Stay Foundation with Soft-flex technology and SPF 15 for Normal to dry skin in the "110 Ivory" shade. For my taste, the product is a little difficult to get out of the bottle without it all coming out at once, but that's a minor issue. Overall it's an okay product, but I don't like buying things that are on par.

    Some things I liked about the product;
    -It has a generally nice smell, it smells like makeup but it doesn't smell... old?
    -The packaging is adorable. I like the way the lid is black and clear.
    -The labels are easy to read, there's a warning about avoiding your eyes.
    -The bottle is pretty sturdy, I've dropped it a few times (while closed, thank goodness) onto the carpet in my bedroom and no breaking, I doubt it would stand up to hardwood or tile, but it's a plus for me.

    Some things that I didn't like;
    -This product may be for normal to dry skin, but it made my whole face feel like an oily mess.
    -Even after setting it with a powder, it still looks a bit off.
    -It's streaky and doesn't blend that well.
    -It's difficult to get out of the bottle without making a mess.
    --The inside of the lid is a mess, and stuff like that bugs me, I'm not sure if it bugs anyone else, but I thought I'd throw it in there.

    Note;
    I'm not sure if I even need to say this, but this product applies much better with a brush rather than those disposable sponge applicators.

    I'm glad that some other people seem to be able to use it to their liking. Not every makeup is for every person. I'm definitely not "in love" with this product but I don't think I hate it. The shade doesn't 100% match my face, but that's my problem, not the company's. I'm going to finish the bottle, using a face powder over top that matches my tone a little better and then it doesn't look so ashy on my face.

    I would recommend buying this product if you absolutely need foundation and your fave is out of stock, otherwise, probably not so much.

    :D

    I've been hearing about how great this product is, so I finally went out and bought some. I would say that's it's full coverage, but it doesn't feel heavy at all. I've only had it for a week, and I do have a bit of a breakout, but it very well may be hormonal breakouts, so I'm going to keep wearing this for another week or so. I like how it looks, I'll give it a higher rating if my face clears up.

    I had just recently purchased this Revlon ColorStay foundation in Sand Beige for oily/combination skin. And so far, I like it! I was looking for a foundation that is comparable to higher end products but has a drug-store price tag (wouldn't that be perfect? :P) And I believe this foundation works fairly well in that regard! After doing some research on foundations, I saw that many many people have given this foundation great reviews. And since there's a sale at my local drug store, I decided to give it a try :). I apply this foundation with an angled foundation brush, which i believe is superior and easier to blend than with mere fingers (and I found a lot of the foundation is soaked up if a sponge is used..). This foundation has great coverage, and definitely on the heavier side, but I guess that is the price of achieving a fuller coverage, depending on which is more important to you. I have frequent breakouts, uneven skin tone, and scars from acne in the past so covering up those imperfections is a priority for me. It evens out my skin tone really well and gives a matte, smooth, and healthy look to my skin. I love to apply this foundation on one-half of my face first and then the other second just to be pleasantly surprised at how good my skin looks after applying this foundation, ha-ha! It stays on all day and although it's somewhat heavy and does give the look of "yeah you have makeup on", but that's no biggie because it makes your skin LOOK GOOD!

    I have always avoided liquid foundations due to how mask like they look and feel, and I don't like the product rubbing off on my collars. This foundation is none of the above. It feels light on, with a sheer, buildable coverage, and once on, it stays on your skin, not on your clothes. I am NC25, with strong olive undertones, and "Sand Beige" is the closest match for me, but it's still a bit too pinkish. The product does have a very strong scent when you first apply it, but that disappears once the foundation dries. You do need to blend quickly as the formula dries very fast, and you'll need a good oil cleanser to get it completely off your skin. For days when I don't want the matte look that the foundation provides, I sheer it out by mixing in some Olay Definity serum into the product. What I am most impressed by is that I don't have to powder my oily T-zone area at all throughout the day when I use this foundation. The big heavy glass bottle and wide opening is bit awkward to work with, but not impossible.
