Ruthless on your tastebuds!

We went to the new Healthy Planet in Etobicoke which just opened today. It was fully stock of the Rude Mama hot sauce with different flavours (original, mango, pineapple and passionfruit) all for $13.99 which is a great price. We got the Passionfruit flavour, and tried it with eggs and pork chop for brunch. Just need a little bit of it, it’s very spicy yet better than expected. It was not too sweet, just the right amount of passionfruit which blends well with the spice. You get taste a hint of the passionfruit and quite flavourful. We got pizza for dinner and put some of the hot sauce which added a spicy kick to it. We will definitely try it with other foods and cooking with it!

Spicy and Tangy

This was the best sauce I had with spring rolls. It’s actually versatile - I added it to my chicken burger also and it was chef’s kiss. My husband and I are definitely going to be keeping this as a side dip when hosting!

Perfect on a grilled cheese!

The Rude Mama Passion Fruit Vietnamese Hot Sauce is suuuuch a beautifully balanced hot sauce! It delivers both vibrant flavour and a satisfying and craveable heat. The combination of red peppers, garlic, tomatoes, Thai chili, and real passion fruit pulp creates this bright, tropical tang that complements whatever you put it on, making it feel more like a gourmet condiment than a typical hot sauce!

I love that this sauce is handcrafted in Toronto using a traditional Vietnamese family recipe. I try my best to consume only Canadian made products, so this is important to me! I found that this sauce added depth and personality to everything from seafood and grilled dishes to an amazing grilled cheese sandwich. I even tried is at a marinade! It’s bold, pleasantly spicy, and incredibly versatile, and I'd say it was a standout sauce that instantly elevated all of my meals!

It goes on everything! Totally addictive

I got this less then a week ago, there’s less then half a jar left. This is seriously good hot sauce. I pretty sure it’s all the fresh raw chiles and the passionfruit flavour makes the hot sauce sing! I’ve put it in soups, stirfries, in my burrito, on chicken strips, my eggs, hashbrowns…and well this jar is already half gone and I’ll need another jar by next week. Looked them up and can’t believe Rude Mama Hot Sauce has been on Dragons Den and made in right here in Toronto! 🇨🇦This Vietnamese hotsauce rocks and I’ll be getting more.

Super Addicting

Tried Rude Mama Passionfruit Hot Sauce and it’s lowkey addictive. It’s sweet and tangy with a little kick, not crazy spicy but enough to wake up your food. I’ve been putting it on chicken, pairing it with Gouda cheese, and even mixing it into my salad because it’s so versatile.

Also love that it’s founded by a Vietnamese creator — as an Asian Canadian, I fully support this brand!

Punches you with flavour and hea

Even though it’s rated only 2 peppers out of 5, it’s already pretty spicy. I did a quick taste test as soon as the package arrived, and that tiny drop had me reaching for water right away.

The heat hits quickly, but the passionfruit gives it a bright, tangy flavor that makes it really enjoyable. I ended up using it as a dipping sauce for potstickers, and it added a nice sweet-spicy kick. Definitely stronger than I expected for a “2-pepper” sauce.

Really good

This hot sauce is really really good! It has a tangy, sweet flavor and light-medium hot base. It’s really not too spicy so everyone can enjoy it. I add this to the most boring sandwhich or chicken nuggets and it really makes everything taste more elevated!

I like how smooth the sauce is and its versatility makes it unique. medium-heat sauce that works just as well on noodles and grilled meats as it does in bowls or as a marinade. It’s flavourful without overpowering your food — more of a bold enhancer than just straight spice.
It is a bit spicy for me though but I enjoyed having it. I would like to try it with other food just to see how it would be. I was too excited so I tried it with eggs which is surprisingly really good. I also was hoping to taste the passion fruit but it was more subtle in a good way.

Perfect way to add heat to any dish!

I LOVE me some hot sauce but I'm constantly dissatisfied that it's never spicy enough, or lacks flavour. Until I tried RudeMama Passionfruit hot sauce - WOW. This really packs a punch in both spice and flavour! Would definitely recommend!
