It’s ok

have a love-hate relationship with this mascara.I tried to find a waterproof drugstore mascara that would create voluminous, long and feathery lashes for quite a while. Some didn't build up to the level that I wanted, others looked spidery. I eventually decided to give this a shot when I saw that Sephora had a travel sized version available and the price was comparable to that of a slightly more expensive drugstore mascara.I'm also trying to use travel sized mascaras after I realized that I can't finish a full sized mascara in 3 months (theoretically, this is how long you should use a mascara tube). Sometimes, the mascara gets clumpy by that time anyway. It's also more cost-effective and to some extent I guess it's less wasteful and damaging to the planet.I'm happy I did so, I've had this for almost 3 months now and it's still doing great. However, I don't wear mascara every single day, more like 3-4 days a week.What I loveI love how it makes my lashes look, the wand and the texture of the mascara can create natural lashes or almost fake looking lashes if you build it up (without a spidery look if you do it carefully enough). I like the way it looks so much I gave it 4 stars despite of the drawbacks.I also appreciate that they sell a travel sized version of it.Bonus: there are clear drops on the mascara tube, as if you splashed clear polish on it and let it dry. It feels quite interesting to the touch and also looks really nice.It's not extremely hard to remove (I'm using an oil-based makeup remover).What I don't likeIt smudges. Quite badly. I read some reviews here and some people don't have this issue. I wish I didn't have it either because I love the way it makes my lashes look. :(Perhaps my lids are more on the oily side. Still, no mascara had ever done this to me. From afar, I look like I have a few brow hairs in my crease after 3 hours hours of wearing this. I don't know how else to describe it, it looks funny. :))I somewhat solved this issue by using NYX proof it mascara top coat (waterproof mascara top coat), but it changes the look of the lashes. The top coat and the mascara underneath mix together and even if I'm careful, I still end up removing some of the volume length from my lashes (sometimes more from one eye than the other, which frustrates me even further).I should mention that the fact that it smudges is not the same thing as it not being waterproof. It is waterproof, but not long-lasting.In conclusion, I am quite sad that I have to look for another mascara, again. I really love the way it makes my lashes

Love the fullness and length it brings to my eye lashes. My lashes are pretty short but this makes it actually look like I have nice long eye lashes . I would definitely recommend this product

Love it! It stays well! Its easy to apply! Makes beautiful eyelashes!

The three girls in my family me included has about a bizzillion mascara. But we seem to all grab the Sephora lash plumper. The only trouble is when we all need it at the same time. But that's another horror story. What makes us love it it's the richness , beautiful colour, plumbs the lashes. It's a winner in our house.

I'm not very in love with this mascara. Whereas some of Sephora's mascaras leave my eyelashes looking long, leaving no clumps, and making my eyes look huge, this one struggles to do any of the above. I find it clumpy and heavy. I recognize that waterproof mascaras do not always come in as lightweight of a package, but I would prefer a regular drugstore cheaper buy than to get this one again.

The first day I wore this mascara - I noticed a difference in my eyelashes (they were HUGE), and everyone else did too! I received so many compliments on them and people were asking what brand I had started using.

Would definitely recommend for anyone who has short eyelashes!

I bought this on an impulse - this isn't usually my go-to at Sephora. For the price I would definitely purchase again. The effect isn't overly dramatic but still noticeable. I didn't find it to clump either!

this stuff is just absolutely amazing. i love swimming but i hate leaving the house without makeup so water proof makeup in general is amazing plus it does amazing things for your eye lashes:)

This was the first product that convinced me sometimes it's worth it to spend a little more money on makeup. I was using a popular drugstore brand of mascara for years before trying this and had never been satisfied with it, but just assumed I couldn't find anything better.

Then I received a free sample of this product with a Sephora order and I have been hooked ever since! It glides on so smooth, doesn't clump, doesn't run with my fairly watery eyes, and doesn't flake. It also lasts a very long time so it's really well-worth the price.

Best mascara ever!!!!! it lasts a long time :) and worth every penny:)
