No one makes sunscreen better than shiseido Japan. This is one way Asians stay looking young, good sunscreen! I'm in my mid 30s and I still get carded, not bragging, just fact! I credit using Anessa through my 20s to protect from sun damage. I'm prone to spots too and this helps keep any PIH from worsening too. Super light texture and doesn't mess up makeup if you wear any. The best sunscreen worth every penny!

amazing sunscreen option

I realllly like this sunscreen the only thing is it is quite expensive but it works really well. It can be hard to get too because not many stores carry it

Very good sunscreen, I have sensitive skin and it was not irritating at all. However, the price point is a little on the high end, might repurchase or might look for other options!

Non greasy sunscreen!

Bought this in Japan after searching a blog on the best beauty items to purchase. Did not disappoint! Wish I got more than one. It goes on so smoothly and it's rare for a sunscreen to have a non-greasy feel to it. I believe this is alcohol based, thus the no grease. Downside is that sometimes if I touch my face then my eyes, it might sting for a bit. May leave a chalky residue as well, but that's because of the physical sunscreen ingredient that's in it.

Great for Sensitive Skin!

I've tried many different sunscreens in the past, but my skin is extremely sensitive. I hated how a lot of sunscreens leave an oily, greasy feeling on my skin, which eventually led to breakouts. With this sunscreen, it provides high protection with SPF 50+ and PA++++. This means the sunscreen is able to protect you against both the carcinogenic UVB and the deep penetrating UVA rays that can cause wrinkles and pre-mature aging of your skin.

One thing this sunscreen is lacking is the waterproof component. There is a waterproof version of this sunscreen, but I personally don't prefer waterproof if I'm not planning on going in the water. This sunscreen does not leave any sort of greasy, oily feeling on your skin. If anything I find it doubles up to act as an amazing primer before putting on concealer or foundation. So this is my go to facial sunscreen for day-to-day use!
