I received this product as a gift and was initially excited to try it. Since then, I've had a love-hate relationship with this lip balm. When I first used it, I fell in love with the fruity candy-like scent and how moisturized it made my lips feel, even more so than the Softlips balms that come in the twist tubes. It really lived up to its claim of replenishing dry, cracked lips. It gave them a nice sheen, not too glossy or sticky, which was nice. However, I don't like the fact that you need to dip your finger in the product every time you want to apply it. What turned me off the most about this lip balm is that after a few months, I started noticing white spots, somewhat like mold or spores sprouting up on the surface. I immediately threw it out as I did not want it to cause any harm to my skin or health in general. It's a shame this happened and am not sure if this is a recurring problem with this specific lip balm or if it was an individualized issue. Either way, I wouldn't take the chance at purchasing it to try out again.
