Ariana Grande released this new fragrance just a few months ago and it quickly became one of my favourites!
They called it "Sweet Like Candy' and after one spray it isn't too hard to see why ... the scent is very sweet but not "body spray" sweet , it is a more mature type of sweetness.
The fragrance doesn't have too many different layers .. it is pretty basic with hints of berries, candies and vanilla and I am able to pick up on all of these scents. I also read somewhere that it also has notes of Bergamont but I unfortnately have no been able to pick up on that scent - perhaps it is overpowered by the vanilla.
A few negatives (but not deal breakers for me) - the pompom on the bottle. When you first purchase this fragrance it will come with a white pompom thing attached to the bottle with a clip. After just a few weeks, this "white" pompom quickly becomes .. not so white. To me, this is unfortunate because the pompom really added to the cuteness and girliness of the fragrance as a whole - I think they should have created a different type of a feature to add to the bottle but it really isn't a big deal to just snap it off and toss it in the garbage .. the bottle will just look a little plain afterwards.
Another negative is the longevity of the fragrance .. this scent has very minimal staying power. With most fragrances I am able to give myself one or two sprays and I am good to go for the day .. with this, I need to spray myself MULTIPLE times just to make it last a few hours. Thankfully, this fragrance isn't terribly expensive and so I do not mind to spray myself like 10 times but I do know this may bother some other people.
