A must

I read these books after enjoying the movies so much and I have to say the books are a million times better. Give them a read you won't be disappointed.

Intense read

I absolutely love this series soo much. I read all three books in highschool and I loved every minute of them. The movies were pretty good but reading them was on a different level! I still have my books and have kept them perfectly brand new. Such a great story line and so powerful, yet so sad at times. I can reread them all over and over again without getting bored

Better than the films

Read the books when the films came out just to see the difference. I think these books are better than the films. There are details in the books that aren't in the film. Highly recommend reading the books.

Love this series

This series is great for dystopian YA readers. It take place when the ruins of North America form a new country called panem. Every year 24 children from ages 12 to 18 get chosen to fight to the death to remind everyone of the war also known as the "dark days". When katniss get chosen to compete she defies the capital and starts a rebellion.

Better Than the Movies

I was Reading the books long before the movie was ever released. I think these books are 100X better than the movies will ever be. There are details in these books storylines that aren't transferred to the movie! Definite must read!

Timeless! Could read this series again and again

These books have just the right amount of hook power to keep you up all night just to find out what happens next. I finished all 3 books in a week, they were so good! These are action packed with just the right amount of romance to spark an interest. I will definitely keep them on my book shelf forever to read every couple of years!

Awesome series!

Action packed. You get hooked on Katniss right away and learn to love each and every one of her friends and family. It makes you laugh and cry and yell in outrage. It shows strength in women and what it means to love and to lose.

Good read

I enjoyed reading all three of the hunger games series. They were all interesting and they were hard to put down once I started them. I would recommend.

Great Read

This is a great book that has an interesting take on an utopian world. Although it's a little intense to have kids fighting kids, it was a very interesting read and I'm glad that this is a series and I can keep on reading

Wonderful book series

Why I love these books, the character of Katniss Everdeen is relatable, strong willed but with flaws like any real person she feels like such a well written character. The story of Katniss and her triumphs over the games and over President Snow and the Capitol are engaging and these books are page turners.
