The series is a fun read. I recommend it, and its great you can follow up with the movies!

The hunger games triology is a fun series of books to read. I like that Katniss Everdeen is a strong female lead which is important for girls and young women to see.

Love the books and love the movies

I loved this series. I have read them several times and have bought and watched all three (so far) movies. People seem very torn about Mocking Jay. It is either something they love or hate. I personally loved the way the series ended and felt that it was the only logical way to end it. I would recommend the series to anyone from 11 or 12 up.

Birthday present last year. Read the trilogy before watching the movies. Stayed up late to continue reading through the chapters!

I really enjoyed this series. The first book is definitely the best. The last book felt like it just suddenly ended - no denouement. However, the message is strong and the characters are great.

I picked up this series because my teen was going to be reading it in class. My husband and I read all 3 books with in 2 weeks. These were a fantastic series for our young adult.
