I absolutely love The Hunger Games trilogy. I was forced into watching the first movie by my brother, and after that I was engrossed by the storyline. I instantly went and purchased the trilogy and read them all in a few days.

It's an easy read. Entertaining, with a memorable story.

I could not get into these books. The writing was very "tell" rather than "show". The concept was quite great, but the execution meant that I hardly made it through the series and didn't even bother with the movies, the books really let me down. While I appreciate pop culture and reading trending books that may not be well-written (Twilight, etc), this series just did not do it for me.

Wonderful series, hard to put the books down to eat! I know some people were afraid to read them because of the premise of the series, but they are great!

By far, one of the best 'young adult' book series out on the market. The first book I purchased on a whim and couldn't put it down. 'Hunger Games' had its teeth in me and I was devestated that I had to wait almost 2 years for the second and third books, consecutively. The movies are great, but there's nothing like experiencing this story through the written word.

I could go on about these books forever! I have had these books since they first came out and I have read them over and over since then. Now If you like Twilight, The Mortal Instruments, The Vampire Diaries, Vampire, or Action Books, etc.. You will probably like this series. I am going to be honest... I wasn't so sure when I first picked up the book, if it was really for me. Then I started reading the first couple of chapters, and when I got to the middle of the book I was like speed reading through it so that I could finish it and go back to the stores and get the next one. So I drove back to the store on the same day and got the next book. I read it and the next week went back to get the next one and it wasn't out yet. So if you are just now buying them and reading them you are extremely lucky !! You get to read them at one time!! So go ahead and save yourself a trip to Barnes and Noble and buy them all at one time!!

I love these books and the movies!

I know that this series is intended for teens, but I loved it. I couldn't wait to see the movies! Something that both my son and I agree on!

I bought these books for my daughter and she loves them she read them all non stop. She said the stories are great it keep her imagination active. I love seeing her read. Better than using a cell phone.

First one was amazing, action packed, and had the perfect amount of romance. 2ND and 3rd I was struggling as boring plot lines dragged on. Great trilogy but MockingJay killed the enjoyment for me.

Worth every penny!! The writing is excellent and the story is great! Once I started, I isn't stop until the last book!
