If you're going to go with shampoo from the drug store, I'd suggest this.....a step down from salon but a step up from drug store. Smells yummy too.

I love using products for my hair that condition but don't contain silicone. This product does that for me. I usually leave the product in for a few minutes each time I wash and I find that my hair is more manageable and soft.

Not quite a full liter as the rest of the Tresemme conditioners but still a nice amount for your money.

Bottom line: I WILL re-purchase!

I'm actually surprised to see these reviews here! I've been using the TRESemme Smooth & Silky Conditioner for over 5 years now and I love it. I have shoulder-length, medium thick, semi-wavy hair also not dyed and it's one of the few conditioners that doesn't make my hair oily or dry. The main reason I bought it was because it smelled so good and their big bottles are pretty cheap.

When I use it, I make sure to spread it evenly throughout my hair with either just my fingers or a comb. I leave it on for about 2 minutes or so then rinse it out. I can feel how soft it makes it in the shower already. The only complaint I have with it is that I have to use almost a handful to get it on all of my hair.

I didn't find anything superb about this shampoo/conditioner. But, it was great for the price. I buy it and keep it on the tub for guest to use.

Yet, I find it too drying for my hair. I have thick, color treated hair, and lots of it. After shampooing with this product I found it very dry. Yet my boyfriend adores it, his hair feels great afterwards!

I like tresemme and it works just fine for me. I dont find it is salon quality but it is better thna some of the shampoo and conditioner ive tried. Tresemme is nothign special, just your average shampoo and conditioner.

I have just recently switched to this shampoo (it was on sale) and it isn't bad at all. For the price you pay, the quality is worth it. One thing I will say for sure is it smells so nice and fresh. The smell seems to last all day....thumbs up!

I am on my second bottle of the Deep Cleansing Shampoo and the Moisturizing Conditioner and love the stuff! It's great for me because my hair is so thick I only wash it every other night and by the second night, I need some deep cleansing ;) Not only does it leave my hair clean, it smells sooooo gooooood!!!! The only complaint I have is that if I let my hair air dry, it kind of looks frizzy but I usually blow-dry/straighten it anyway :) Another reason I love it is because you get a HUGE bottle for like 5 bucks!

i have to experiment with alot of different hair products my hair is extremly oily and fine, I did try this product when I heard about the reviews and I must say I wasnt impressed, it left my hair feeling heavy. nice smell though

I was not that impressed with this shampoo and conditioner I hate to say. I really had my hopes set that it was going to make my hair more shiny and manageable but I found that it felt like it made my hair more weighted down and dull looking. Maybe it is just my hair type, I have thick coarser hair but I felt like I received a better deal when I bought Suave.

Overall effective cleansing shampoo and conditioner and it also smells nice. It's not the best shampoo I've experienced, but its a good budget shampoo and it is generally better than other shampoos like Herbal Essences, etc.
