Twilight by Stephenie Meyer Reviews
#4 in Books

Description

Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. This is the the 1st book in the Twilight Saga.

I love this series! well I love this series in book form. when it comes to the movies not so much. This book however is simply amazing and has so much more to offer then what the movie did. Edward cullen is more appealing and bella swan is an amazing character.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at the Twilight Saga. I read the Saga because my daughter at the time had the books and I wanted to see what the hype was about. I love supernatural stories and enjoyed this story. The reading was easy to follow and I could empathize with the characters. It would be wonderful if true love was as strong as it is in this series. The strong family bonds with the vampires and the werewolves was great to see and also how they intertwined. It is worth the read.

I really enjoyed reading the twilight series and watching the movies. The books were a lot better and detailed. I was hesitant at first that a book about vampires would be interesting but In the end it turned out to be a true love story:)

I was iffy about Twilight when it first was brought to me, I felt like everyone was just jumping on a band wagon, because it was obviously the new hype. So I went to see the movie in theaters, I know people are probably going to ridicule me for that but that's what inspired me to actually read the books. The way Edward spoke to Bella was so beautiful! I would relate him to the way Shakespear would write, the flowerly language! Would totally read it again.

I didn't read this book for a few years after it was released. I wasn't too interested. Until one day someone else suggested I read it, because I was taking my niece to see New Moon. So I read Twilight. And I loved it, I finished it in one day. I'll always be Team Edward.
Teen love story, which is complicated. But you can relate to awkward Bella. Which is what I like.

A guilty pleasure for sure! I haven't read it in years but it was a pop culture phenom for a reason. Just please don't judge these books on the movies. They were nicely written and deserved a much better representation of Stephenie's written word. A lovely little series.
