I chose the Wholegrain Medely-Vegetable Flavour just to try something different--boy I'm glad I did...this product had barley,lentils,long grain rice --the taste was a great pairing with some spicy ribs I'd made...I just wanted to have an interesting side dish but I fell in love with all the differnt textures and the flavour was pretty good. I'm going to see about trying other flavours they had for the new BBQ book I was given for Mother's Day...look out stomach,here comes pleasure! lol

So yummy! We buy these on a regular basis and eat several times
A week. Hubby takes it in his lunch and adds some
Chicken to it to Make a meal . Quick, simple and delicious!

tried the creamy mushroom and it tasted so good will buy again for sure

These are great I only buy them on sale or with a coupon. I like them because you can still stir fry them on the stove. Add veg and meat they are a fun light meal.

I have tried a few different varieties of this rice & I have to say I am a fan. I have the tendency to over cook rice constantly, measure too much or to little, this eliminates that problem completely! Let's just say rice cooking is definitely not my forte.
Comes in a variety of different flavours which is great! And the fact that it is ready in under 2 minutes is amazing! Perfect, quick, easy rice every time!

I usually like to cook from scratch but I bought this rice when I lived at a place with no kitchen, just a microwave.
So I was skeptical.

But the Uncle Ben's Bistro Express rice really surprised me! I tried the Long Grain & Wild - Roasted Chicken flavour and it exceeded my expectations.

The rice took 90 seconds to cook and it was done perfectly! The rice was light, fluffy, and most importantly for me, did not contain too much salt.

The only negative was that the whole pouch was extremely hot after cooking and I did not find the Cool Touch area to be very effective. I was eager to eat and may not have waited a suitable length of time before handling the pouch but I would suggest giving it about 10 seconds.

Overall, I was impressed with Uncle Ben's Bistro Express rice and would recommend it to others!
