First time user awesome experience!

I received the $25 voucher to try it through ChickAdvisor and was thrilled! I never shopped on line for groceries like this was before and was a bit hesitant to be honest. But after using the service I highly recommend this! The groceries available were of high quality but not cheap in price though. I found a few things on sale which I took advantage of and some main items were out of stock. I liked the schedule delivery and the call the delivery guy gave me 2 minutes before he came to let me know he was on his way. He was very friendly And wearing his mask and thanked me for shopping. All in all a great experience!

My order was cancelled

Unfortunately, my order got cancelled. I tried changing my time slot while the order was still open for editing, however, for some reason it didn't save the changes. The delivery guy called at the original time and I advised him that about the rescheduling but told him that if they have the items ready I will arrange the delivery to be received . Few minutes later I got an email saying that my order was cancelled. I called the customer service right away to fix the issue and undo the cancellation. However, this is the part where I was deeply disappointed as they were not helpful at all. I was told to place the order again online but the prices have changed for most of the items as the sale has ended. I tried explaining the issue but the customer service agent wasn't able to do anything about it even though I called within minutes of cancellation. As everyone else mentioned, the options are limited online and then customer service was not helpful at all so I decided not to place another order.

My Voila Grocery

I got accepted into the $25 if I spent $100 with Sobey's and have it delivered with Voila. The website was pretty easy to use. I made my order and had it delivered 2 days later. I actually got my order a lot earlier than what I had chosen which was okay with me. The delivery person was nice and friendly. she said there was no substitute but there was one substitute which was fine. My only thing is that Sobeys is way too expensive for me when I am trying to budget. Other than that the experience was great.

Would use again!

From ordering to receipt, the entire experience was easy.

The UI on the website was categorized well and easy to navigate. To my surprise, you could shop for items from Farm Boy and Well.ca, and not just Sobeys.

The only con I would say that there were items missing that you would normally be able to get from the brick and mortar. Not sure if out of stock or unavailable as a whole.

Receiving the groceries was a great experience as well. The driver called prior to arrival. During the delivery, the driver explained the delivery process, which includes quality checks and temperature checks before drop-off.

Overall, would do this again. $8 delivery is worth it for the 2.5h I save every week.

This was a great service

This service was extremely easy to use. The website is very user friendly, from setting up account, to picking groceries, to checkout.
I did find that some of the products I was looking for were unavailable, however, most things were there.
The delivery came right within the 1 hour time frame, with the driver calling me ahead of time to say he would arrive in 10 minutes. The driver was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and had many recommendations and tips for ordering.
I would definitely use this service again. It was very convenient and easy to use.

This service is not worth the money. Sobeys is right next to my house so for me this service is useless. Also can get better quality product and groceries by going to the store.

Professional delivery drivers, on time and helpful!

I was really impressed with the logistics of it all, from robots picking my items to bags for the fridge/freezer being tagged by coloured handles. The site was easy to use and payment was a breeze.

It was nice to have the driver call to ensure that you are home so that nothing spoils outside. Very professional and great customer service!

Safety

I received a voucher of 25$ discount from Chick Advisor to place my first order. I was surprised with the good sales Voila had! Driver called before going to my place, a few minutes ahead of my time slot booked. I wasn`t at home, and he waited until I arrive to hand the products to me, as I ordered some frozen goods. I said he could leave the groceries at my door, but he insisted in wait for me. I get that they want to avoid complaints, but I was authorizing the drop off. Vegetables were great! No complaints! I`ll definitely order again.

No much different from others

I have received from chickadvisors a $25 off on a $100 shopping test. Besides the inability to change the automatic postal code inserted all was seem less. A bit annoyed by the delivery charge of $7.99. Product variety was limited vs store. But all was clean and reliable.

Voila by Sobeys - Delivery with a Smile!

Normally I shop at stores in person, with free pick up or free delivery. ChickAdvisor offered a promotion which covered much more than the cost of delivery, so I went for it. After seeing the Voila delivery trucks on the road often recently, I have grown very curious.

In my perspective, Sobeys is a premium grocery store - you might expect to pay a little more for basic items. While this is true, I did find various items on sale and although the purchase date and delivery date were different, I did indeed pay the sale price. There were also no substituted items.

Before the delivery was about to arrive (about 20 minutes) the driver called to advise me and check that it would be ok to leave items on the porch. Due to COVID-19 protocols and restrictions, I was happy to have the service.

When the delivery truck arrived, they accidently delivered to my neighbour's porch. When they realized the error, they were quick to remedy the error and took a moment to tell me that my order was temperature checked and perfect. All frozen items were indeed still completely frozen. In fact, I couldn't even scoop the icecream that the kids had anticipated so badly.. haha

The 2 gentleman who dropped the order were cheery and seemingly happy with their work. They asked if I had any questions (I did not) and off they went.

Overall, the experience was pleasant. I would use the service again if the delivery fee is waived and recommend to others.
