Great Service!

Compared to other grocery delivery services, there’s definitely a few advantages to Voila. The $7.99 delivery fee is extremely competitive, and you can’t beat a 1 hour delivery window so you don’t need to waste a whole evening waiting for groceries to arrive.

The drivers were very friendly and brought everything around to my backdoor for me. I found everything was packed well and at proper temperatures.

All in all I would use them again, Only took one point off for value because I do find the groceries themselves to be slightly more expensive than other stores, and there were a few things I couldn’t get such as organic strawberries. Only one item I ordered didn’t arrive, though, which is definitely an improvement to Metro (where it’s a regular occurrence for 5-10 items to be missing or substituted).

I received the coupon to try out Voila by Sobeys and as an avid online pickup user for PC Express I was excited to try an alternative.

I was so impressed with the quality of the food I received and with NO missing or unavailable items! Which honestly happens more than I would like.

I usually do pick up but having delivery was even more convenient for me as a new mom.

I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

The service was so convenient and they’re super organized! I ordered online the evening before and it was delivered to my door at 8am when I asked them to (I could have done earlier for you early risers) They called me 20 mins before to ensure I would be home ... The truck has a fridge and they separate the bags that need to be chilled with a green marks on the handle. The delivery man was super nice and since was my first time ordering he explained how it all works and since it’s covid I keep the bags .. After COVID whenever that may be they will be collecting and buying your plastic bags for 5 cents each from any grocery store♻️👏

Excellent service with fair prices

The process of signing up, choosing my groceries, and picking a delivery window was very easy and quick. Delivery is made in a 1 hour window with a brief phone confirmation 10-15 minutes in before arrival.

The delivery worker was courteous and efficient and the delivery process met both my personal and condo COVID safety expectations. The rather heavy load of products was delivered to my apartment door by the delivery worker using a hand truck which saved me a lot of trips to the store since I can only carry so much without a vehicle.

The grocery prices were very similar to what I normally see in store and most of my purchases were on sale. The delivery cost fair, but it does encourage using this service for large, expensive orders rather than for just a few things.

Overall, I thought it was a very smooth process and will use it again.

This was the first time I’ve used this service offered by sobeys and i find the overall service as okay. Of course it is never the same actually choosing your own products compared to someone else preparing the products for you to be delivered. But overall it’s okay

This was a wonderful experience. Especially during these times where going to stores is not an option for some people. Food was delivered right on time and everything was super fresh and great quality. I would definitely recommend Voila to anyone. Great, quick and reliable service with exceptional quality and care.

Great option to keep in mind!

I received a discount as part of a Product Review Club offer for Voila by Sobeys.

I was grateful for this opportunity to try Voila by Sobeys, I haven't used home grocery delivery before and thought I'd give it a try.

I'd like to talk about all the positives first. The delivery times were fairly wide-open, so aside from the same day I placed my order, I could basically have it the following morning. I chose the 8-9 a.m. time slot, you receive a text when the driver is approximately 10 minutes away. My delivery arrived just after 8 a.m. The delivery driver was absolutely great. Kind, courteous, explained the program, and was wearing a mask and gloves. But still maintained physical distance. I'm not sure if you can have them bring your groceries right into the house, I was fine with on the porch but it's worth asking if you have trouble carrying your bags. The bags have a green indicator on the handles for the items that need to be refrigerated or frozen, which I thought was pretty ingenious. They will offer a bag return option in the future (I'm guessing a small credit for each bag you return), but obviously at this time they can't start this initiative. Everything arrived at perfect temperature, for the refrigerated and frozen items, and the driver/delivery person explained temperature checks are performed on these items to ensure they meet standards before they leave the warehouse. I was welcomed to the "family" twice.

The quality of the items is what you would expect for a store like Sobeys, I don't have anything of particular importance to note about that.

I was able to find a few items on sale that were comparable to (or better than) my usual grocery store. That being said, most items were more than what I would pay at my usual store. The shopping experience itself was very straightforward, but be aware that you will not find every single product you're used to finding in-store, even if Sobeys is your usual store. I also noticed that a couple big sale items seemed to be in-store only and were not available for purchase through Voila.

The delivery fee is high for me, at $7.99. However, since I don't typically order groceries for delivery, this may be comparable to other stores offering this service. And like I mentioned, the customer service in terms of delivery was very good. I believe they do offer a curbside pickup option, for which I assume there is no charge but that was not my purpose in evaluating the service.

Overall, this is a great option if you're in a bind, or can afford regular Sobeys pricing plus a delivery fee. My usual store allows me to get much more for my money, so I'll likely stick with my usual routine for the most part. I will say, if I was sick or had no help in getting groceries or was in any situation that prevented me from getting out of the house, I would definitely consider Voila by Sobeys in the future. It really depends on what you're used to in terms of grocery costs and convenience.
