While the concept of Voila sounds great and the advertising has been really well done, I’m going to explain why I didn’t end up actually Using my discount or ordering anything from this new service. I was very excited to try this service, I have tried other grocery delivery and pick-up options in the last few months, and delivery times are always a challenge. The opportunity to have 1-hour time slots along with Sobey’s quality and selection I thought would be great. So I used the provided links and started looking for my first item, butter. No butter to buy except for $7.49 specialty butter - double the price of regular butter. Ok so into the next item on my list, yogurt. Only 3 types of yogurt came up and no, small portion options were available. And that was the end of that, since I already had to go out shopping, I gave up and completed my shopping somewhere else. I have learned that their website now contains more options, and is fully stalked, but that was not the case the day I tried to create an order. I truly hope they can get their website to be consistent with the quality and selection their brick and mortar stores provide.

New is good!

I tried this service after receiving a voucher from a product review service. The ease of ordering is pretty good tho the searches provided responses outside the search. For example I chose fruit and got both fruit and veg. Made me search for more specific items.
There were quite a few unavailable items, especially the store brand items. I find Sobeys overpriced often other than sale items so I tend to buy store brand when possible
The checkout was smooth. Delivery driver called prior to arrival as was very courteous and polite. Product arrived in good condition. In my opinion too many bags are used. I ordered several frozen pizzas of different flavours and each type was in its own bag.
Overall a good service to add to our options.

Easy and reliable, no surprises!

I normally use a different grocery store's delivery service, but tried out Voila/Sobeys as I received a great promotion/discount for their new offering.

The Voila/Sobeys website was easy to use, the prices/price per 100g etc were clearly stated. The prices, in general were good, and they had a number of good sales as well. The delivery fee was very reasonable.

I really liked that the availability for the products was precise. With other stores, I've always had to just place an order and then wait until the delivery to see what wasn't available or had to be substituted.

The only downside I found was that the range of products was somewhat smaller than I'm accustomed to, but that was easy to work around as there was still a lot offered.

The delivery was made by a super nice gentleman, and all the items were packed/bagged safely. I was slightly disappointed that the drivers are not allowed to accept tips, and the website doesn't not allow you to add one.

All in all, things were great, and I will use this service again!

Excellent Service and Products

The groceries are fresh and they keep products at the right temperature to ensure freshness! I would recommend everyone to try it out, I actually enjoyed Voila more than other grocery delivery services. They made sure to call me and let me know when they were 15 minutes away and reassured me that they would leave the groceries on the front porch. When I went to get them, the delivery driver also confirmed that he checked all temperatures and products to make sure they were good and up to standard. This is great for me as due to the Summer heat, it’s best to make sure that dairy products do not spoil!!

I received a discount as a part of a product review club chickadvisor but opinions are 100% honest.

Never ever again!

Products are overpriced. Organic choices are limited. I'd never make a purchase if I wouldn't have a voucher. Recommend for billionaires who don't care about prices at all.

Truly white glove service!

Amazing customer care - from calling their help team to delivery. I really appreciate their thorough check of my items before they delivery so I can be confident it’s fresh and temperature controlled. The SKUs are being added daily so there is good assortment of product at this early stage. My only request is to add brand as a search filter.

Great service

I thought for value, voila was better than comparable services. Flat rate shipping and direct from warehouse made it more appealing. I had some issues with product availability and pricing wasn't as good as where I normally shop but I would order again.
Delivery was awesome. They showed up on time and called ahead to say they were almost here.

Excellent customer service - quality products!

I placed a grocery order with Voila by Sobeys just before the August Civic holiday. The website was easy to use, there were lots of sale items available for products that I use, the selection was great and the prices were comparable to shopping in person.

I placed my order then went back to edit it before the shopping window closed and it was very easy to do. I received an email confirming my order and delivery time...so far, so good.

Delivery day - I received a pleasant phone call from the delivery driver advising they were 10 minutes away. I told them I would meet them outside my condo building. They were right on time.

The driver and his assistant were very friendly. They gave me a little tour of their delivery truck (all while social distancing!) explaining the chiller, freezer, and regular grocery areas on the truck and that they check all refrigerated and frozen foods with a thermometer gauge to ensure everything is still good, before handing over to the customer. All my groceries were accounted for and in good condition.

I attempted to tip the delivery driver and they advised they do not accept tips but a positive review on the Voila website would be very welcome.

Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely use this service again.

Didn't come on time

Groceries were delivered late and not in great condition (some vegetables beyond bruised or about to go bad, etc). Some of the meat was also off and we had to throw it out
