High quality alternative

First time using a grocery delivery service and I am very impressed with how easy the whole process was. Website was convenient and could easily navigate. There was a wide range of delivery times available and I appreciated the driver giving me a 10-15 minute estimated arrival time so I wasn't waiting around. Delivery was no contact and drivers were in full PPE, with masks and gloves. I would recommend and look forward to using the service again!

this service is as promised. Fresh produce, fast service and efficient. Im glad sobeys decided to do this, especially during these times. It's hard to ensure that you get fresh when ordered from the store but to get directly from the warehouse made a difference

I liked the idea of having my groceries delivered to me. Helpful in these times and super convenient. @voila.ca has a wide range of grocery options to choose from.

I initially started my order via the website and then switched over to the @voila.ca app. The app works well. Super easy to use and a very straightforward checkout process.

Before starting your order you will be prompted to book a delivery date and time. A lot of options to choose from, again a very simple process. On my delivery day I received a call from the driver, letting me know they were 15-20 mins away ( Just enough time to put on my “ I woke up this way face” ). Delivery driver was super awesome, friendly and advised me that they took a little extra time to get the bags out of the truck. He advised me they check the temp of the foods to ensure freshness.

I was impressed with the ordering process, the staff and the quality of the products I ordered.

Overall the products were pricey and they do charge a $7.99 fee for delivery. I received a discount from @chickadvisor as part of their product review club, so that softened the blow.

What would make me use @voila again? A great experience overall!

I had such a great experience from start to finish with Voila by Sobeys! This was also my first time ordering groceries for delivery and I am impressed. The website was user friendly and I found the prices to be fair. There were a lot of flash deals at the time of ordering which I also enjoyed. I received an email notification the day of to remind me of my delivery time and the driver called me when he was about 20 minutes out. Once he arrived, he brought all of the bags to my front door and assured me that he had just double checked the temperature of all perishable items to ensure they were up to standard. He even let me inspect the carton of eggs to make sure none were broken! I received all items as I ordered them and everything was fresh. I will definitely be using this service again and I highly recommend everyone to try it out! All you need is some time to pick everything out online and then your groceries arrive on your doorstep!

Great service and attentive drivers!

Loved this experience! Driver called before arriving and made sure that I knew he was coming. He made an effort to explain the process to me and asked if there were any special requests (any particular place to leave everything). All my items were in stock and fulfilled, which was greatly appreciated.

Very punctual, great value

I ordered about 20 items. I liked that they had great sales (e.g. 12 pack of yogurt for $1.50). They came on time, and the delivery man was very friendly and asked for feedback. I think the delivery fee of $7.99 is a bit too high, maybe it should be free if over $100. I did not like that there is a minimum of $50. Overall, I really liked the service and I think it is worthwhile to try, whether as a full grocery trip or as a top-up grocery buy. .

Quick & Easy

From start to finish Voila by Sobey's is an excellent company. The website was easy to navigate even on my phone. Scanning for what I needed was surprisingly quick. Making the payment and setting a date for delivery was easy. It all arrived the next day. The delivery man was quick & polite. This was the first time I used a grocery delivery service. I was really impressed with all of it and I would recommend this to anyone that doesn't enjoy grocery, lacks the time or the energy or just would prefer the convenience of it all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely 5⭐'s.

Voila!

I received a discount code as part of a Product Review Club. I had a great experience because it was super convenient. I was able to pick things off my gorcery list from Sobeys. There are other grocery stores you can order from, but I personally enjoy Sobeys because I find their fruits and vegetable fresher. I was able to choose the time slot for the next day for delivery. I like that the foods are picked at the warehouse, because that means limited contact during this worrisome time.

Some things that I didn't like is the $8 fee is higher in comparison to instacart, which is their competitor. Especially since I can order groceries for the same day and at a cheaper price for Instacart. Groceries are pricier than at Sobeys and Farm Boy than other grocery stores, and then the fee is higher than competitors. I don't know how affordable this service is for everyone, especially when it would be great for companies to deliver groceries during the pandemic for a lower price that everyone can afford.

This new service is a hit

I’ve tried this new grocery delivery service a handful of times now and I absolutely love it! It has the lowest delivery fee I’ve seen so far compared to competitors. They have really good flash sale items! Ive been able to get a lot of things at half price from their flats sale items and I’ve been able to try some items I wouldn’t normally try because they were on sale. They even offer free items from their “compliments” line as samples for you to try. Ive been able to try shredded cheese, orange juice, and burgers! The delivery people have been very friendly and contactless delivery is great. They bring your bags up to your door and step back so you can bring them inside. I love that the orders are picked by robots so there is a lot less touching of your items. I wish they would add air miles and have the same prices as in their stores. Ive noticed sometimes when fruit is on sale in the flyer it is not the same price online. Overall i have really enjoyed using Volia and now that they have an app it’s even easier to navigate your grocery trip. If you haven’t tried them out, YOU NEED TO!

Dtandard delivery service

I really was at a loss for what to say. For me, it was a standard grocery delivery service that did not stand out above the rest. It was perfectly adequate. It had no benefits that make it any better than the competition, but nothing negative to put them below the grade either.

The same issues I tend to have (availability of specialized products only carried by very select sobeyes locations for example being unavailable on the app) with other services were still here.

Overall, its 100% fine.
