I was sent the Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Waterproof Mascara to try for my honest review…

I recently tried the Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Waterproof Mascara, and I must say, not much is needed at all. Its thick, creamy texture delivers intense volume and dramatic length with just a few strokes, making my lashes look bold and striking. This mascara lasts the entire day and night without flaking, clumping, or smudging, which is impressive. It’s a vegan product that’s cruelty, fragrance, and paraben-free, which aligns with my values. I appreciate that it contains Iris Florentina extract, keeping my lashes soft and healthy post-removal.

Wearing this mascara garnered me numerous compliments while out and about—it’s a real head-turner. However, I view it more as a luxurious treat rather than an everyday product due to its price point. Despite being slightly out of my budget for daily use, I see it as a worthwhile investment for special occasions and nights out.

A couple of small drawbacks though would be the limited color selection; I wish they offered more than just three shades. While black is my go-to, a red option would be intriguing and something I’d love to try. The other is the challenge of removing the mascara at the end of the day. It can be time-consuming and difficult, however using a micellar water, as recommended, does help in this process. I hope Yves Saint Laurent decides to expand their color range and perhaps formulates an easier removal method in the future.

Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, the Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Waterproof Mascara is a head-turner that delivers on its promises of intense volume, dramatic length, longevity, and lash care.

Wow! Best waterproof mascara

I couldn’t believe how well this mascara stayed on, I rubbed my eyes and even wiped them with a wet cloth and nothing smeared! This is the perfect mascara for anyone looking for length/ volume/ and will stay on no matter what you are doing! Will repurchase!!

Amazing Volume

This is the best mascara I have used in a long time! I have very short lashes and with one coat there is a dramatic difference, with 2 coats it's like I have whole different set of lashes. It's easily buildable and doesn't clump.
This mascara is truly waterproof and the only issue I have is that maybe it is just a bit to much because it's extremely difficult to get off. I've tried using a couple different products and makeup cloth to remove it but still it lingered.
None the less I love it and will continue to use this! Thanks Butterly for the opportunity to test this for free!

The brush is perfection

I love this brush! It’s so big. This is truly waterproof but I’ll be purchasing this again in regular formula. It’s a decent price too for a luxury brand.

Absolute superstar of a product! Do not apply this product unless you're ready for some BOLD lashes!

The mascara goes on very nicely, and as advertised, lasts up to 48 hours. It's waterproof and will NOT budge. With that, it does take a little more work to remove at night, but well worth it.

Glamorous Volume with Staying Power

YSL's waterproof mascara gives me big volume and stays put no matter what. It's perfect for glamorous lashes that last, though taking it off can be a bit tricky. Still, if you want bold, beautiful results, this one's a winner.

Lots to volume

The packaging of this mascara is beautiful. It has an easy to use wand with many spaced-out bristles and holds plenty of product. With that being said, as someone with thin, short, sparse lashes, I don't feel as if the spacing is ideal for me. Too much product gets applied, which causes a slight cakeyness and a clumpy appearance, although this can easily be fixed with a mascara comb. I do however love the bold black colour and I can definitely notice an increase in volume and the all-day wear that doesn't smudge or flake off and it also dries quickly once applied. It doesn't irritate my eyes throughout the day and comes off easily with a good makeup remover or cleansing balm.
