Yes to Sultry Lashes

I received this product for free from Butterly, and I believe that I’ve found my new staple mascara! I often have issues with other brands causing irritation to my eyes and clumping up, by YSL has an effortless, silky application that lasts all day and doesn’t smudge, even with the thickest mascara texture ever formulated in their labs! The pigmentation is powerful, the application is seamless and airy, and your lashes are left voluminous.

Amazingly good

First of all I like the minimalistic design of this mascara, it comes with a brush that takes out just about the right amount of product, which is very nice as it keeps your lashes separate and not clumpy. Only one coat would visibly bring a huge difference to my short and thin lashes as you can see in the video. It last me all day long and I tested it several times with water to judge to waterproof aspect of it and guess what: SUCCESS 🙌 !!!!
It wasn't easy to remove though but I think cleansing balms or oily make up removers are your best bet to take it off. But overall I was very satisfied and it's definitely and addition to those summer must have make up products.

Beautiful packaging, excellent formula!

My makeup drawer is full of products ranging from drugstore-branded brushes (Shoppers Drug Mart) to name-brand blushes (Nars), makeup palettes (Mac) and everything in between. However, mostly due to its high cost, I've never used a Yves St Laurent product. While mascara is one of those products that you should be replacing every 3-6 months... I suspect we've all been guilty of keeping at least one of our trusty wands for years!

Not to discount the mascara's effectiveness, but the thing I love most about this product is its packaging! Its a long tube with nearly 10 ml worth of product and the logo is clearly yet beautifully wrapped around the top, just beneath the wand. The best part: it clicks in place when securely closed, which is something I've never seen any other mascara package do! This keeps its contents sealed from air, keeping in the moisture and making the mascara last even longer.

Its easy to apply and glides on easily. A few strokes on each lash and they are ready for lift off. Like the package advertises, the formula is definitely waterproof... to the point where removing the product off your lashes proves difficult. Typically I use my "makeup eraser" cloth plus makeup removing lotion (Avon for the win!) after a long day. But I found I had to use my fingertips to massage the product off my lashes for a minute before it came off. True to its claim, it is definitely waterproof!

Overall, a fantastic product and well worth its $40ish price tag. Thanks Butterly for providing this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

This mascara is amazing iam in love , everything I look for in one product , you can see a very big difference in your lashes from the first application , my lashes is thicker, longer and darker after applying only one coat ,it’s water proof which means it stays longer , it doesn’t cause my lashes to break or fall , I loved the brush and the texture , I do really recommend it because iam definitely buying it again , thanks to butterly and YSL for sending me this product to try for free

Lovely Mascara

I loved using YSL Lashclash Mascara. I love the packaging of the product and it’s luxurious feel. The mascara wand is great and easy to apply with. The product is water proof and is supposed to be long wearing. My only complaint is that sometimes it clumps a bit but that can be avoided by careful application. Overall, I loved it.

Natural & Voluminous

This mascara by @yslbeauty didn’t reach icon status by accident— it lives upto the hype 👁️

It promises to deliver intense black volume while lengthening, curling & separating the lashes — and it delivers. I got an opportunity from @thisisbutterly to review YSL Lashclash mascara & I loved it. It definitely feels luxury.

It builds up easily to create clump free volume, & I loved that the rectangular shaped brush helps to achieve separated eyelashes. The formula wore well without smudging and transfering. The lashes looked full and voluminous while maintaining a natural appearance.It adds thickness without making them look overdone and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to remove unlike other waterproof mascaras. Just put a cleansing balm/oil on the eyes and remove it with a cotton pad.

YSL does it again!

First things first, as I have already said, this packaging is beautiful - just like every other YSL product. It’s simple but so sleek. I love that they used a demimatte for the black packaging. It adds to the luxury vibes. And as always, their iconic YSL logo is the perfect accessory on the packaging.

The applicator is a pretty generic one: it’s relatively fluffy and has no unique contours or shapes to it. It works perfectly fine for getting mascara on the lashes. I’ve honestly never really understood all the different shaped ones and their usages.

The formula of the mascara appears to be on the dryer side. I had a little bit of clumping but I do think this did a pretty good job volume-wise. I wasn’t super sure how to feel with the effects of the mascara immediately upon application but I gotta admit I actually really liked it after a while if that makes sense? The clumping seemed a lot worse to me as I was applying. But after a while, I didn’t really notice it and instead, really like the volumizing effect. I will say that this is also one of the better ones for me in terms of durability. I had very little smudging on my bottom lash line at the end of the day. As someone who gets significant smudging with the average mascara, I was pretty happy with that end result.

Love love love it!!! Amazing waterproof mascara for spring!! Applies so easy and lashes look longer and fuller!! Looks like I’m wearing extensions when I’m not! Love this mascara!

Finally found my kinda waterproof mascara

I have been on a hunt for the perfect Waterproof mascara, especially for the warmer weather that's approaching by. I tested this one by YSL and am a fan as the formulation is great for my lashes and stays put.

Ysl lash clash mascara is perfect for lashes ,i always opt for heavy and foxy eyes ,this mascara is best for this purpose it makes my eyes lashes heavy and pigmented by giving them a perfect bend ,would highly recommend
