Stinky & Flaky

When I was chosen by Butterly and YSL to review mascara for free, I was excited to be chosen for this product. Now I am just happy I didn't put my own money down the drain. My first reaction in receiving this product was that the bottle was fancy and it must be a higher than drug store quality (and price tag). Upon opening my product to review the smell was overwhelming, then the brush pulled at my eyelashes and hurt, then the kicker once I finally got that stuff off was it was flaky. For days after wearing it I flaked. Not good for a contact wearer. Eyes were watery and uncomfortable. No. I wanted to like this product and I am grateful to have been chosen to try it in exchange for my honest review. But no. I do not recommend it.

Impressed for high end mascara

I get this for free in exchange of my honest review I’m picky with mascaras, more with high end , I don’t like usually waterproof because I hate to remove if it’s hard or take too long this is way easier than others . I love the wand 🖤, and how long my eyelashes look. I like how they look with two coats but I think easily you can add more coats . You have to curl your lashes for a better result . But definitely I’m loving it . I think it looks so pretty extra point for being waterproof so it makes the curl to last longer .

Truly waterproof

I really like this mascara, and find myself carrying it in my purse more often than not. It's truly waterproof, and has resisted breaking down or smudging in both rain and snow when I've been out for a walk. After applying it once in the morning, it's rare that I need a touch-up. It's quite a heavy mascara, but this is also what makes my lashes appear to have more volume. I also appreciate that it is easy to remove with a cleansing balm and hasn't made my lashes fall out when removing it.

Pass

I wasn’t a big fan of this mascara. Not noticeable after two coats of mascara. I’ve tried cheaper brands that provide more volume, so I would skip on this.

Great mascara

This is a wonderful mascara and I love the packaging. The wand is really good for short eyelashes. The formulation is really good and my doesn't budge. Highly recommend this high quality mascara.

No need for Fake Lashes

Provides length and volume the unique big brush makes sure that the mascara does not clump and provides equal coverage adding length and volume. Perfect mascara for vacation no need to worry about flaking.

Great Mascara!

I am definitely picky about my mascara. I didn’t actually wear mascara consistently until recently. This mascara though is definitely lightweight and easy to put on. Adds a lot of volume to my lashes. Looks good all day and definitely doesn’t smudge. I’ll definitely buy this one in the future!

Nice mascara

Vibrant but fairly natural-looking mascara. Helps with volume and lengthening. It's a little heavy but not in a bad way. I think this is effective and easy to apply.

Ooh la la ! lash blast for the win !

I am totally on board with this new product from YSL! I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I used it for a week before submitting this review in order to offer my opinion and feedback. It honours its promise to be long lasting, smudge proof and didn’t leak at all. No dark circles or labour intensive techniques to remove this mascara. I slept with it on one night to test it … and it didn’t destroy my pillows. The size is a bit large ( wish it came in a compact option as well to carry in a wristlet while in the go ) but overall a great experience with this product.

Bold, dramatic long lashes!

This mascara is great for a night out or a special event! I never use false lashes, so I like making my lashes look bold and dramatic using the correct technique which I've learned over the years. By the way, I didn't curl my lashes as I wanted to see how the mascara actually worked... I was able to separate and lengthen my lashes with the brush wand quite well, but I did have to work a bit quickly as I noticed that it will dry a little faster due to it being a waterproof formula. I found this mascara to be long-lasting and it held up well for basically the entire day whenever I wore it. The colour is a nice, deep black and gives an eye-catching look. Be sure to use a waterproof eye makeup remover or micellar water to remove it at the end of the day. Overall, the quality is great and I recommend it for anyone who likes spectacular long lashes!
