I was so excited to try this beverage after hearing it was 0 calories, 0 sugar, etc. The range of interesting flavors had me curious (Lemon-Lime, Cherry, Ginger Root Beer) and I picked 6 cans up at my local Bulk Barn. For $0.99 a can, I figured it was worth a shot to see if I could find a soda that wasn't bad for me.

Big mistake. These sodas are disgusting. All the flavors I tried were equally as disgusting. There were no "saving graces" in this set. I've done a deeper review below on each flavor. But generally, they leave a weird taste in your mouth (much like a diet soda would, but this is worse) and for the lack of nutrition in these cans, I don't think it's worth it. I'll be sticking with my fruit juices or water additives.

So the flavors I've tried:
Cola - Tastes like your generic diet-pepsi or diet-coke, maybe more watered down. Really strong weird flavor in mouth.
Ginger Root Beer - VERY gingery. But oddly enough still watered down. Not much of a root beer aspect.
Lemon Lime - Tasted okay at first, but once that "odd feeling" gets in your mouth, it all goes downhill. Not bad, but not good.
Ginger Ale - Probably the "best" of the ones I tried. But it tasted like a normal ginger ale, with a bunch of water in it.

Over all, not worth the money, not worth the time. But if you already like diet sodas, they might be worth a shot.

Diet Cherry pop is finally available in Canada! So far I have only had the chance to try two flavors of Zevia the cherry and the lemon-lime and both were great. No added sugar, low calorie drinks without any asparthame-aftertaste.

I can't wait to get some Cherry Cola, orange and grape flavors!

I love that Zevia has no sugar, no calories, no artificial sweeteners, and no caffeine! It is sweetened with stevia which is a green leafy plant! Its great for those times you feel like a cola without any of the guilt.

I am a diet cola lover so I was super excited when I found out about Zevia drinks. They taste great, and I feel that they are a much healthier choice when you feel like having a pop. I wish they carried them at more stores, but I know that there is a form you can send to your grocery store on their website to request that they carry the drinks. I have only tried the gingerale and the cola, but my husband really likes root beer and black cherry.

LOVE this product; I wish that restaurants would start carrying this brand.

I tried the grape flavour but it wasn't to my liking. Zevia is a great replacement to pop since it has less sugar but it is not for me.

Great calorie free option for soda. Great flavors, no funny aftertaste. Price is a bit high, but there are always coupons available on their website, and can be combined with an in store sale.

Zevia is a relatively unique soda brand, as it does not sweeten its products with sugar or artificial sweeteners. It uses natural sweeteners and stevia extract. Of course, this soda does not taste as sweet as more mainstream brands. However, if you are addicted to carbonation, like I am, these beverages are a perfect treat that won't spike your blood sugar and leave you feeling bloated and guilty. Grape is my favourite flavour, as it tastes almost like Grape Crush, without the ridiculous amount of sugar. It's sweetened with natural grape juice and stevia. Of course, having higher quality ingredients leads the Zevia brand to be more expensive, and more difficult to find outside of high priced health food stores. If cost isn't an issue, I would highly recommend this product.

Zevia is a low calorie, no sugar added, all natural Stevia sweetened soda beverage. Now as a regular Pop drinker, you can’t fool me when it comes to taste. I like my Pepsi and Coke products, so when I was told about this Soda Substitute (as I call it) I was a little skeptical. I was very fortunate enough to have had a try at the Canuck Pack,.There was the 11 following flavors and this is what I thought about them!


Grape… This was a good one. I liked it similar taste to the grape soda you buy in the stores. My son does not drink Pop (he is 3) but my niece is a huge lover of any kind of “Junk” food and I let her try this one. She loved it. So I would say it is Kid-Approved This would be a great one to buy for birthday parties… It can even be use in Recipes

Black Cherry… I can’t say too much about this one, because I am absolutely not a fan of any kin of cherry type cola. Its just not my thing, its a personal taste, you might try it and love it.

Gingerale: This is the one I first tried, as gingerale is what I’d normally be drinking. I was pleasantly surprised with it’s similar great taste. It still has that same great fizz and bubbles as any soda F

Caffeine Free Cola… Taste almost the same as the Zevia Cola. Which taste good. Its not exactly the same taste as the brand name stuff, but its still great in its own unique way. Perfect for those avoiding caffeine and also another great one for kids!.

Orange... I really enjoyed this one. Its was a nice orange drink, very similar to brand name sodas. I love also love the shiny cans they all come in. Makes it alot more appealing when your drinking it.

Lemon Lime Twist…. I love it. Its even better then the brand names. So much flavor. It’s like BAM in your mouth, citrus flavor

Ginger Rootbeer …. To be honest I was never a huge drinker of gingerale. Once in awhile I would order one if we went to A&W;to eat, but other then that, its not my thing. Zevia made it taste great somehow and that’s all that’s important. You really need to try this for yourself. I know people who like eat those “Rootbeer Floats”

Cola….Now when I drink this, it reminds me of brand name diet cola, just slightly more watery. In general I like it, but its not one of my favs.

Cherry Cola…. Again Im not a fan of the cherry and cola but the hubby likes them, so they must be good?

Cream Soda …I can honestly say that neither my hubby nor I liked the taste of this flavor. You might, but I can’t even describe it. I know that it is way off of actual cream soda.. Sorry guys I wouldn’t try again…

Dr Zevia : It tastes just as great as Dr Pepper (the hubby said)

If for some reason I was told that I wasn’t able to drink regular pop again, I would be just fine because I now have the piece of mind of knowing I have other options that are just as great and even Better for me. There is so much less sugar in a can of Zevia compared to even a juice box. With a wide variety of flavors, you are sure to find something to your liking. This really is a product you want you fill your fridge and stockpile up with.

Its great for people on special diets, diabetics or other anyone who just wants to consume healthier products. You can find them in the organic/health section.
