Left my mouth completely dry!

Listerine Total Care Zero was to help protect my teeth. I started using this on the recommendation of my hygienist to help prevent cavities. Unfortunately, I experienced dry mouth and throat. Therefore becoming more susceptible to cavities. I would definitely not recommend this product.

The idea of no alcohol was appealing so I thought to give this a try finally. Now I know what the alcohol is for when they make this. This product left a film in my mouth and I did not have the "FRESH" feeling after using it. My mouth also felt very dry and parched. So I suppose the alcohol is what gives you the fresh feeling. Back to the original for me.

I also received this product as a free sample! I'm really glad I did as I now know that I would continue to use my regular Listerine (original) vs this new one, as I found it leaves my mouth feeling numb like and very very dry afterwards. Taste was ok though.

I hate using mouthwash because my mouth is very sensitive to alcohol and strong mint flavouring. I tried Listerine Total Care Zero expecting it to be much more gentle, but it still burned inside my mouth and I had to stop using it. Still on the hunt for a mouthwash I can use regularly.

I'm not a fan of this product. While it is great that there is zero alcohol in this product it really dried my mouth out when I used it. After spitting it out, my mouth was gritty and felt wrinkley. I wasn't comfortable with that.
