Make Up For Ever Aqua Rouge

Of all the long-lasting lip products I've ever tried, this is by far the most effective. The stain really does last all day and the moisturizing top coat is amazing. It passed the food/drink test with flying colours.

I received #2 Rosewood free to test, which wears a little more brown than suits my colouring. However, I'm sold enough on the effectiveness and pigmentation that I would definitely be interested in trying another shade.

Lipstick just the way I like it! I got Aqua Rouge in #8, which is a bright scarlet. It's a little less forgiving during application than my other two-steps (where all I have to do if I mess up is quickly swipe the mistake with tissue), but the colour is so extremely pigmented and wonderfully vibrant. Living up to the two-step lipstick name, this one stays on all day and passes the food/drink/kiss test, which makes Aqua Rouge my new go-to!

This is officially one of my top favourite lip colour products right now. The stain gloss duo gives you amazing colour, just as shown through the packaging, and a high-shine gloss that will last you many hours before having to re-apply. I have tried this product in 8 Iconic Red and 10 Raspberry (my favourite), and will hopefully try other shades in the future. The stain colour is very pigmented and once it sets and the clear gloss is applied over top, you are in for many hour of wear. I know that I've made it through 12 hours without reapplying this and little to no product came off out of cups that I drank out of. The only downfall is that it takes quite the effort to take off at the end of the day. Definitely my recommendation for long lasting lip colour!

This is a long lasting lip stain that promises to be transfer and fade resistant. I got the opportunity to try this out and I must say, it really lives up to it! It lasted a really long time, even through drinking. It did come off on my inner lip when I ate though. You have to use this lipstain exactly how it is meant to be used or it won't work as well. The product has a very pigmented lip colour end and then a glossy, clear end. You use the coloured end first on dry, clean lips and you need to let it dry for a while. It gets really tacky and uncomfortable at first but once dry, it will stay on for a long time. After it is dry, you put the glossy end. I really love the gloss part of this, I need to look into it and see if they sell it on it's own!
