Tampax Radiant Pearl Tampons

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.
At first glance I would say that I'm not as into the tampons that take a lot of space these days. I would prefer the kind that snap out so that when I'm at work without pockets I can easily sneak one to the bathroom without everyone knowing where I'm going.
However, the tampons are excellent quality, smell fresh, are very absorbent, and come with a neat little pocket to dispose of it ideally.

I would definitely recommend.

This was my FIRST TIME using a tampon. First impressions: nice packaging. I could put it anywhere in my purse and don't feel embarrassed i have a tampon. second, It thought it would take me a long time to figure out how to use it but with the help of a YouTube video and the applicator, I got it in minutes.

The only thing I would keep in mind, especially for all ya'll first timers out there, is that know what kind of absorbency you should use. The box that was sent to me had Regular Absorbency in it. And I tried using it during them on my first day. They claimed to last up to, I forgot,I think it was like 4 or 8 hours? And the tampon was already used up after 2 hours for me. So that's were I got a little iffy. I had to change the tampons every two hours and being in school, it was bothersome. So either their claims of absorbency is false, or my period is really heavy and I need to purchase the Heavy Absorption kind. :)) Best part about using it was, I didn't even like there was something inside me! And I was expecting that plugged up feeling on my first time. So three thumbs up!

I thought these were great. I liked the smell, and I thought they absorbed well. They also don't leak. They were effective, and I would definitely recommend them.

I usually stick to the same U by Kotex tampons, but since I received these tampons to review, I decided to only use these during my whole period. First, I'd like to say that I do in fact like the packaging. The little sticky flap really comes in handy. Next, I thought the tampon was quite easy to put in. Lastly, my only real complained is the way the tampon opens up inside you. I prefer the the type of tampons that open up like a skirt. These ones open up like a butterfly (if thats the right way to decribe it). I thought that feature made the tampons quite unconfortable to take out. Thus, this last part is the reason I would repurchase.

I love the wrapper! Finally tampons that aren't noisy!!! the little resealable flap is handy too!

They are effective, do their job, and they have a pleasant scent.

I loved the plastic sleeve that these tampons come in. They have a leakproof plastic you can put the used applicator in and it's resealable! However that was the only thing I liked about these tampons. The applicator was cute. But nothing special than any other plastic applicator out there. I didn't think there was a need for colors and little designs on them. Not something I really need. As for leak proof and effectiveness I didn't find them any better than any other tampon I use. If anything I found them worse. I wouldn't go out and purchase these. I will stick with my regular brand.

I bought these tampons yesterday along with some regular Always Infinity( check out my review if you're interested) and I love them. What realy made me want to try them was the colors, the resealable wrapper and the name. Radiant really drew me in because it just sounds amazing. The resealable wrapper is great for disposal and I don't flush my tampon and I can fit the applicator and the used tampon in the wrapper and it is still able to reseal. I love the applicator too it is very smooth and the grip is great. It doesn't break easily and the color and pattern on the grip are a bonus! The coupons for the Radiant line,Venus,and Covergirl are a great extra too. Now for the tampon itself, I love it! It features the leakguard braid,formfit protection and the cleanguard layer- all of Tampax's features. It absorbs really well and it didn't leak. I wore it for 6 hours.
