The packaging said dark black but it looks more brown to me. It doesn't add a lot of volume to my lashes but it does give them a nice, more natural look to them. It enhances them just enough to look like I have naturally bold lashes. Otherwise it take many layers for my eyelashes to look bigger and better. The brush size is a bigger one which is good to get all the lashes but the product doesn't do that much so it's pretty useless.

I tried out the Almay Intense I-Color Mascara in Sapphire. The mascara is a bit more in price, i luckily got it on sale. But it works great. I found it does not clump. Goes on smooth and does take layer after layer. Loved the little touch of colour. it isn't extremely obvious that its blue, which I like. Washes off very easily. I did not find it to smudge or smear if you rub your eyes.

Almay Intense I-Color is my favourite mascara. It goes on beautifully without mess and stays all day without smudging or flaking. I have never had any eye irritation from it and, of course, it looks beautiful. Whenever I try other mascaras I am disappointed. I will stick with this one from now on.

I looooveee Almay products, and I have this for Hazel eyes. My eyes instantly look greener and pop with this mascara. It's so easy to apply and it makes my mornings so much easier!

This mascara separated and defined my lashes, and is pretty natural. This is one of the few colored mascaras at the drugstore, and the pigmentation is quite good. This has good staying power and lasts me a good part of the day.

bought it a couple days ago for $9.49... little expensive for me. :-( this mascara goes on smoothly,without clumping and it stays all day without smudging. it's very easy to remove. i bought mine for hazel eyes. this mascara should make your eyecolor make pop out....but i don't see a difference.this mascare didn't make a dramatic look,it's natural but a little more volume, curly and a little more intense,they also made my lashes look longer what i loved(without overly made up!). this mascara also didn't irritate my sensitive eyes. i love this mascara and recommend it for long lashes but without dramatic look.

I purchased this mascara on sale for $4, and couldn't pass up giving it a try.
My eyes change from green to blue to gray, so I picked up the i-colour for green eyes, which is a brown mascara.
The mascara applies quite evenly with few to no clumps and lasts throughout the day with a tad bit oa flaking off.
I have very sensitive skin and eyes and this product does not irritate either area.
I would recommend this product for those looking for hypoallergenic products.

Wow--Almay I would like my lashes back please. Before I used this product I used to get compliments on my long gorgeous lashes all the time--now nothing. This mascara will go on smooth enough but after it hardens when removing it, even with the most gentle make-up removers, all of your eyelashes will proceed to be ripped out or broken. This product is horrible and I could never bring myself to recommend it to my worst enemy.

This product works great for anyone and everyone. I love to use it every day as my basic mascara. I have even given some in gift packs to friends and every time they come back raving about it. Great product!

definitly brings out my hazel eyes! Works wonders with the i-color eyeshadows.
