good for apartments... maybe

My cat was on natural litter for a couple years but I thought about switching back to a more mainstream litter. That's when Church & Dwight Canada gifted us a box of litter

So the first day with the new litter all the litter made it's way out of the box. 😂
ge is doing a bit better after a few days but he is still making mess with the clean litter outside the box.
Other than that it covers up the smell really good. And looks pretty. So I definitely recommend the product I might just need something heavier.

It does what it claims

The litter does perform exactly as it says, hardball lightweight, no smell all week it's totally great for that but for some reason the lightweight ones seem to stick between my cats toes and makes a huge mess all over my house...I wish it weren't like that because I do love the ease of the litter itself but yeah the tiny size of the grains don't work well for us sorry but thank you so much for allowing me to try it

Too costly to fill my big boy's litter box!

I love the idea of this product. It is light weight, easy to handle and pour but because my kitty is a big boy and doesn't have a regular litter box; his is extra large - I need two boxes to fill his box adequately which is too costly. The litter is too fine though and gets into my long haired cat's fur. It clumps nicely! This product would work wonderfully for smaller kitties but not for my big boy!

Strong parfume

I had this opportunity to try for free the Arm and Hummer Hardball clumping litter. When I opened the box, I felt a strong scent of litter, is smells very nice but my cat couldn’t go to the toilet during more than 12 hours because of the parfume. I had to add some of my cat’s old litter on the new one. Now my cat is used to the new litter. Another issue is the price $$$, yes, 25$ for 3 kg I think is too expensive , but there are a lot of positive facts: 1. The litter is very lightweight: nearly 60% lighter than our regular litter.
2.Very easy to scoop it. On the box is written that freshness is guaranteed up to 20 days. 3. Low dust formula.

Alright

The smell of the hardball litter is great, it's not heavy at all. However, it's expensive. At $23.97 a box and it's only enough for 1 litter box, I have a hard time justifying it as I have 4 cats. If you had trouble lifting heavy and only have 1 cat maybe then it would be worth buying.

Great product

This is quite innovative. I think it really works to keep the smell compact. It does have quite a strong perfume smell.

Some issues, I did not think to read the cat litter box in the Walmart. I waited until I was out of litter and picked this up. Then when I got home I see the box said fill 1 inch then top off with "regular" cat litter 1-2 inches. Im sure this would have helped the transition. In the large cat box (the one with the lid and swinging door so kitty doesn't make such a mess) the entire box $23, filled the cat box just over 1 inch.

I went back to town to buy more regular cat litter to review this special litter. The smell was much better then typical. When I scooped the first time I couldn't get it up from the bottom. I tried a few angels then put.pressure on it and broke the cat scoop. So back to town for a new scoop ha! This was some seriously condensed ..... The box says no need to replace, just scoop. The box also says do the above, then each week add more special and less regular litter. Regular litter needs changing, so I don't quite understand, but I am excited see how the month goes.

Pretty good

I like the easy opening and access to the product to the cat litter tray. There isn't any dust and it easy to scoop the clumps. The scent is on the strong side

Not Cat Pepe Approved

I was lucky to be chosen for the opportunity to try Hardball Light Weight Cat Litter for my cat 🐈 Pepe for FREE for my honest review.

As per the product description, it shrinks cat's waste into ultra compact clumps to make for an easy peasy, no mess scooping. It also guarantees freshness for 20 days. Now that sounds great!

First, off the bat, it's really light weight. The box was easy to carry. Love that!

Price wise, it's not low cost, a bit pricier but less than what I am currently buying, Pretty Litter.

In order to make the transition to the new litter, I added some of his older one on top and waited to see the magic happen!

Unfortunately, my cat wouldn't use this litter, I checked regularly for any signs. I was disappointed, but I guess he's just picky.
So after a day of waiting, I thought I'd do a simple test before switching back.

I added some water (I may have poured too much... oops!) in 3 spots to see it clump. I've got to say, it does work and clumps solid. I bet if I left it for a few hours before scooping it out would have shrunk more.

There is a scent, much lighter than other clay clumping litter I've tried in the past. But I did notice it. Not sure if my cat wasn't a fan because of the scent.

If you are used to using the regular clumping clay litter, then you'll really like this.

If you use other types or if you or your cat is sensitive to any scents then it may not work for you.

Strongly scented

This litter has a sand-like texture and looks so different from the typical clay litter I’ve always used. I like that it is not dusty at all when pouring and it’s very lightweight so the box is easier to lift and pour. What I don’t like is that it’s scented which isn’t advertised on the box. I prefer unscented litters and I don’t find this scent pleasant and it is kind of overpowering. I probably won’t purchase this for that reason. Otherwise it works well for clumping and my cats seem to use it normal but I can’t get over the scent of it. And the price seems quite high compared to other litters.

A lightweight, clumping litter!

Thank you Butterly and Church & Dwight Canada for the opportunity to try the ARM & HAMMER HardBall Clumping Litter for free in exchange for my honest review. Although my cat can’t share his thoughts, here are mine. I liked the texture – it felt easy to manage and scooped well without any mess. I would say it’s lighter than our previous litter, it didn’t feel like I was scooping out heavy clumps of waste and there was no noticeable dust. While the scent is designed to maintain freshness, it’s a bit overpowering and takes a few days to get used to. I tend to avoid heavily scented products for my cat, but he didn’t seem bothered by the scent. My cat has very furry paws and a floofy bottom, so an upside was that the litter doesn’t seem to get stuck in his fur as much. I did notice that he tended to fling more of it out of the litter box than our normal brand. I’m not sure if it was because it was a new litter or if it’s just lighter and flings easier. We haven’t been using this litter for 20 days, so I can’t comment on if it remains fresh for that long. However, my initial thoughts are that this is a good litter option for those who want effective clumping and odour control, just be mindful of the scent if that’s a concern you have. I would say price is a determining factor for if I purchase again, as I believe freshness can be maintained with most litter brands if you stay on top of cleaning the litter box, especially if you have a single-cat household.
