Decent cat litter

Overall, the Arm & Hammer Hardball cat litter is an effective clumping litter. I love that it's easy to scoop, is virtually dust-free, lightweight, and my cat had no trouble getting used to it. Unfortunately, what I did not like was the scent and the fact that it tracks a lot. I find litter all over the floor, on my furniture, and in the beds. While I loved many aspects of this litter, I'm not sure I can overcome what I did not like.

Clumps well.

This Arm and Hammer hardball clumping litter is very lightweight. It has a scent that is relatively strong, especially if you are used to using any unscented cat litter products. It does clump up into a ball that is super easy to scoop. It scoops very well and is very easy to keep clean as long as you are scooping daily or every other day. I also really like that it is dust free. My cat has no issues using the new litter.

Cats love it and I love that it’s not as heavy

I love that this product is not very heavy. It makes throwing it away so much easier as I have to bring it up a lot of stairs. My kids even are willing to help scoop it because it’s scoops easily. There is a scent and I do like the scent as it helps reduce the smell. At times it might be a bit strong depending on who you are, but it does reduce overtime. I did like that. I got to try it free to learn about new products. The only issue I had was receiving the product as the store refused to remove the taxes. I did end up paying partially for this item. That was unfortunate, but not the product’s fault. We will buy it again. Hopefully we can get it from a different store that doesn’t argue over wording on a coupon. We’ve been trying to find a lightweight cat litter as the pine pellets my cats refuse. So far, they will use this. There is some instructions to slowly introduce it to some cats by mixing it with your old litter. So that is an option if your cats are hesitant to use it. My cats were willing to use it, but were difficult in getting nice pictures. But I did get a few.

Good clump litter

This litter is good at clumping as advertised. It is not very heavy which is nice. You don’t need to over fill the litter box which helps keep it clean. It does clump really well where the cats go to the bathroom. It is a bit dusty though.

Better than our usual

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. When I picked this box of the Arm and Hammer Hardball Cat Litter, I was surprised at how much smaller and lighter the box was and thought to myself, there's no way this is going to last. We'll, much to my surprise, it really does go a long way. I initially slowly added some to our regular brand to get our boy use to it. No problems at all. It's seems to do what it claims, ie shrinks and is easy to scoop, and does not fall apart near as much as our usual does. I'm impressed. May have found our new cat litter.

Super lightweight!!

After several days of my cat using the ARM & HAMMER™ HardBall™ Clumping Litter I am very happy with it!! ( and so is she! ) The litter is super light weight and clumps into “hard balls” just like it says! At first I was thrown off that the colour was a beige colour that I just wasn’t expecting and the small looking box had enough litter for her whole box plus some extra for a refresh! The litter is extremely easy to scoop! The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the strong scent. It does make our laundry room smell nice where the litter box is, but our cat was a bit hesitant to go near it at first! Thankfully she uses it no problem now and it’s so easy for me to clean up!!

Light & Effective

Thanks Butterly and Arm & Hammer for sending me the Arm & Hammer Hardball Clumping cat litter. It’s easy to clean, doesn’t create a big mess and keeps the room odour free. It’s also reliable and effective and easy maintenance. The cat litter is also lightweight as the description says and it’s 60% lighter than regular clay litter. However, I did notice that it did track a bit more in comparison to other litters and because the particles are smaller, at times it’s gets stuck to the cat paws. My two cats were very curious and spent the first half of the day just sniffing the litter but the second half of the day, they started to become comfortable and use the litter. I really like that the freshness lasts for 20 days so I don’t have to keep cleaning and changing the litter everyday or every other day.

Good cat litter

This Arm & Hammer Hardball lightweight cat litter has a scent that lasts for several days. My cat transitioned to this litter with no issues. The litter clumps well making it easier to scoop and dispose of the waste. I am giving it 4 stars because the scent is strong when you first pour it out of the box.

Clumps Really Well

After using this product for a week for my cat's litter box I am pretty pleased with it. It does an excellent job clumping and absorbing the liquid.
