Great clumping, no dust, no odour!

The difference in weight between this kitty litter and others is practically unbelievable. Where with others you'd need both hands to lift it, you can lift this box by it's top handle with a couple of fingers! It's super handy if you're someone who has to lug it up stairs or carry it some distance!

Another benefit is the lack of dust that comes up when you pour it into the litter box. I have asthma so that's something that's always caused irritation with some other brands, not to mention the mess the dust makes to the surrounding area.

It does a great job on clumping. This makes it easy when scooping out the litter boxes without having to change it all or just simply missing any mess that didn't clump properly. Even if we did miss a spot, it's not the end of the world because being Arm and Hammer, it helps reduce any bad smells from it!

The only disadvantage to this product is the cost. There's definitely more economic options out there, but if cost is not much of a factor for you, the quality of this product is great, it helps reduce any bad odours from the contents of the litter box, and the lightness of it is absolutely fantastic.

Absolutely different

"Arm & Hammer's HardBall litter promised convenience with its lightweight formula and tight clumping, and on those fronts, it largely delivered. The bags were indeed easier to manage, a welcome change from the usual heavy clay litter. Scooping was also a breeze; the clumps formed were impressively solid, minimizing the frustrating crumble that plagues so many litters. However, the experience was ultimately overshadowed by one significant drawback: the overpowering scent.

The scent, which I had hoped would be a subtle, pleasant addition, was anything but. It filled the entire room, even with the litter box tucked away in a corner. It wasn't a natural floral scent, either; it was more akin to a heavily perfumed cleaning product, and it lingered with an intensity that was frankly overwhelming.

Unfortunately, my cat shared my sentiment. He, who is usually quite fastidious about his litter box, began avoiding it altogether. He would hover at the edge, sniff tentatively, and then retreat, choosing to relieve himself elsewhere. This was a clear indication that the strong scent was a major deterrent. I even tried mixing it with his old, unscented litter, but the overpowering fragrance still dominated, and he remained reluctant."

Kitty litter

My cat loved this litter. It clumps into a ball similar to the photo. It's low dust so it's not making a mess everywhere. It's odor protected so it doesn't smell like urine/poop it smells like the scent on the box. 10/10 recommend

A total cat-astrophe

This is my review for Arm & Hammer HardBall Clumping Litter. I will not be purchasing this litter myself as my cat and I both did not enjoy it. I've tried several different cat litters over the years and this is the only one my cat refused to poop in. To start off, I did not like the scent of the litter and I did not find it helped with the odor of cat urine. My cat only used his litter box twice to pee when it had this litter in it. I didn't notice any clumping at all when I scooped the litter where he had peed. When I scooped it was almost like a large fluffy pancake versus a hard ball/clump like his usual litter. I found this to be almost more wasteful as it took out more litter. Since he only peed in the litter box that meant he pooped on my bathroom floor instead. I'm not sure if it was the scent or texture of the litter that he did not like? Unfortunately, since he can't speak I can't ask him for his thoughts. I also noticed him grooming himself more than usual after he used the litter box to pee in which concerns me as the litter is very very fine and I have concerns about it sticking to his fur and him ingesting it while he grooms himself. Sadly, when I removed this litter and added his usual, he immediately got into his litter box and went to the bathroom which made my feel like a bad pet parent as he clearly did not like this Arm & Hammer HardBall Clumping Litter. This was mine and my cat's experience with this particular litter and you may have a totally different experience as every cat is different.

Great clumping litter

My cats have been using this litter for over a week now and it works really well. The sand like texture makes it easy for my cats to dig in and the clumps are pretty solid, which makes scooping easy. It also does a great job at controlling odors. One thing to note is that the scent is pretty strong, which might not be ideal for sensitive noses. There’s also a bit of dust when pouring, but nothing too bad!

Great product, a little pricey

This litter was such a surprise! Had a scent (which I usually hate) but it wasn't overly abrasive to the nose. It was literally DUST FREE. So many litters make this claim and it's just not true, but this was actually dust free! Cat didn't have any problems using her box so she must approve as well. There was zero mess outside/around the box anywhere. Super easy to clean because it clumped perfectly. We've had the original litter in for 9 days now and have just scooped (not full change) and it still doesn't stink!
Another bonus - it actually is so much lighter so if you have brutal back problems like me - this is a game changer!

Répond bien à nos besoins

Avec l'arrivée du printemps et le grand ménage qui en découle, j'étais à la recherche d'une nouvelle litière pour notre monsieur Pacane 🐱 J'ai été agréablement surprise de la litière agglomérante qui m'a été offerte. Elle dépasse même nos attentes ! Les points forts que nous retenons : aucune poussière volatile (ça rend le changement de litière beaucoup plus agréable), ultra légère (c'est vraiment vrai), retient efficacement les odeurs (un GROOOS plus parce que je n'ai plus besoin de la faire à chaque 2 jours), compacte et solide lorsqu'on l'a ramasse souillée donc pas de dégât et de résidus qui s'éparpillent yeah ! Je recommande vivement ce produit. Selon moi, l'essayer c'est l'adopter. Parole de Pacane qui prend du soleil ☀️

Works great

Works great, my cat seems to be ok with it also. I do find it kinda expensive for the size of the box. I would recommend this cat litter to anyone.

Clean litter

I love how lightweight this litter is, the scent is clean and not to strong, it definitely clumps nicely so its much easier cleaning my cats litter boxes. I find it easier disposing of the litter waste now as other clumping litters weigh a ton. Great product, very pleased.

Hard as hardball

I got Arm and Hammer Hardball Cat Litter to try for free and I like it. It really clumps. Low dust. Still no odours. My cats like it ok. The price is high, especially the smaller box.
