Good for my skin AND the environment

Packaging: Love any easy refill packaging. This is a great combo with the pump bottle and the easy refill package that uses less plastic than buying the product again from scratch.

Product: Love this product! I have very sensitive skin and this didn't overdry, has a nice smell, and felt great. It's a perfect dupe for more expensive Sephora style products (like fresh)

Refill options for original products

Great product!! I love that there is no strong smell. A bottle will last a while which is great!! Ive used many face cleansers and this is my favorite.

@thisisbutterly send me the #complimentary Aveeno Calm + Restore nourishing oat cleanser refill pouch for a honest review. This particular Aveeno line is one I am already familiar with and use in my everyday skincare routine like the moisturizer, itch relict balm, and body wash. The calm + restore collection cleanses and hydrates skin while helping to preserve and strengthen your skin’s moisture barrier. I also appreciate that this line is dermatologist-recommended and tested on sensitive skin without use of any fragrances, parabens and sulfates.

I was sent the Aveeno refill pouch that has 473 ml which is 9ml more than two normal bottles. Although I didn’t get a chance to use this product, I appreciate Aveeno’s push to be environmentally conscious by offering this bulk option which saves 80% in plastic used compared to the 232ml bottle. The pouch also uses 30% post-consumer recycled plastic. The cap on the pouch looks user friendly and convenient. I will definitely purchase this cleanser again in the future and will look at buying the refill pouch vs the standard bottle to also do my small part to reduce plastic waste.

Innovative and Easy

Overall, I had a very positive experience with this simple, but effective cleanser! Aveeno has recently been coming out with these amazing refill pouches that reduces plastic (they claim by 80%). Each refill pouch can refill the bottle twice, which is honestly amazing! It’s convenient and easier to store than buying a bunch of bottles. Totally wish more brands did this!

Will last months!

I’m really liking this cleanser. so far, so good. So I was happy to also receive this refill so I can get the full experience using this product as this should last me months!

Seeing as I'm not getting any younger and my skin isn't magically rejuvenating, I jumped on the opportunity to try this Aveeno product for free through Butterly. My skin is typically combinaison (oily in T zone), but I get really dry in the winter. It can also be sensitive to some products (redness, rash, bumps, itching). This product is perfect for me (and affordable! and in pharmacies!🙌🏼). The Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser for Sensitive Skin is made without fragrances, sulfates, parabens, alcohol, and dyes, and has the seal from the Canadian Dermatology Association. In my experience, the lightweight gel/lotion-type texture was really easy to apply and rinse off, not sticky, didn't leave any residue behind, didn't cause any bad reaction, and left my skin fresh, soft, and soothed. After rinsing my face and patting it dry, I let my face air dry a bit more, and then apply my moisturizer.
Aveeno also chose to create an awesome super easy to use refill pouch! It says it offers 80% savings in plastic! It's quite refreshing to see a company find solutions to reduce their use of plastic packaging. What's even better is that the size of the pouch is the equivalent of 2 cleanser bottles! So you buy these 2 products and you have enough for 3 bottles' worth of cleanser, and reducing the amount of wasted plastic by 1.8 bottles. If the environment and reducing waste is important to you, you're going to love this product.
Note: I noticed that they say the cap is a twist cap, however the one I received has a little tab to tear off, and then you pop/flip the top open. Much easier to use than twist caps for those with issues like arthritis in their hands. I hope they decided to stick to the pop/flip cap.

Overall, I'm very happy to have had the chance to try this out and to share my experience with you.

I LOVE everything about this cleanser, but the fact that they made these refill is amazing! Always have a backup in my bathroom, never run out of cleanser & do you know the best thing about it? It’s good for the environment because they’re made with recycled plastic & help save 80% plastic compared to the first container! Love love love!

Refill & Reuse!

I already love this cleanser so to have a refill pouch of it is awesome. I love that I am able to use the same pump container without wasting more plastic. The cleanser itself is hydrating and moisturizing and very gently on sensitive skin. I use it morning and night and I’m good to go.

I wish more brands would incorporate this refill option for their products. You get more bang for your buck, which is most definitely needed given the current economic climate.
