This us a great tasting, the texture is nice and easy to spread, no more torn fresh bread. Easy to use for baking and cooking . Heart healthy product . Will be using and purchasing again .

Changed my mind

I honestly didn’t believe that this would be anything close to the real thing but I definitely changed my mind. I received a free product and put off trying it for awhile as I didn’t have much faith.Well it is now a staple in our home and it’s price is sometimes cheaper than the real thing. Over all it’s a win no matter how you look at it.

For those who like salted butter. This one is delicious, it tastes good in cooking (frying or used as a condiment for corn on the cob) it's great for your light snack with toast, even spreading it on crackers. I'll be continuing to buy this

J’ai eu la chance d’être choisie pour tester le beurre becel à base de plante (salé) j’ai été charmer par son apparence pratiquement identique à du beurre conventionnelle. J’ai adoré le goût sur mes rôties. Ensuite je l’ai tester dans une recette de type dessert et il n’y avait aucune différence. C’est sans l’ombre d’un doute que je continuerais à acheter du beurre à base de plante dans mes prochaines épiceries.

Delicious - on par with butter

I was at first surprised at the price of this plant based product but after baking with it I’m ok with it! It’s very similar to butter but with less trans fats.
It behaved much like butter when left on the counter to reach room temperature for baking, maybe even a bit faster to warm up.
It made cookies a bit crispier but not noticeable enough for the kids to notice!
I’d buy it again if it were on sale, but not permanently replace butter.
Kids loved it on their bread though! So much easier to spread than butter that hasn’t been warmed up and tastier than margarine.

Absolutely will purchase again

Absolutely love this!! It is a fantastic product to use in baking anything sweet or savoury. Has great versatility and have used it to grease a pan to prevent sticking and works fantastic in a topping for fruit crisps as well. It is the right texture to cut into flour to create a great the perfect crumble topping. Definitely will be one of my cooking/baking staples.

Pretty good for fake butter

I am a real butter type of guy, raised on the open plains of the praries, this butter was alright but not the same as real butter. I liked the idea of it and will used it again, but for me the real taster of butter is better.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié le tout nouveau produit Becel : un beurre à base de plantes. Pour être une adepte de Becel, mais pas de beurre, je me questionnais sur mon appréciation au produit.

À ma grande surprise, le goût est très bon, la texture est bien, même réfrigérée. Par contre, pour avoir essayé de le tenir à température pièce, elle fondais rapidement, même s'il ne faisait pas trop chaud.

This product did not disappoint. It delivered on everything that it promised too and my family did not notice the difference( the fact that it was plant based).

Love it highly recommend

I would highly recommend for baking season. I couldn't tell the difference from recipes requiring butter neither could my children. Goes from fridge to room temperature like normal margarine.
I was having a hard time finding in stores however so hoping it expands to every store the price point comes down a bit and it goes on sale in a regular rotation for stock up .
