Liked, but didn’t love

I love butter, and it is a staple in my keto diet. I was curious to try plant-based, and wasn’t sure what to think. I liked that the product was easily spreadable, but I felt like I should have kept in the fridge instead of on the counter as I do with dairy-based butter (it became too melted). In comparing with dairy-based, I felt it was closer to margarine in consistency and taste. I think the value is not there as It would be more economical to buy margarine. I received this product as part of a promotion.

Just buy butter

I tried this product and upon reading the ingredient list, you are better off just buying real butter or using canola oil. It is a good thought, however it just plays into the "plant based" niche right now. It had a chemical taste to it and didn't have the "melted butter" look on toast. I used it to make scones and they turned out alright. I don't think anyone would notice

Wasn’t for me

If you like margarine you will enjoy this product. I was hoping this would have a more buttery flavour so it wasn’t for me. It had the consistency I would expect from butter or margarine And spread well on toast/waffles, etc... my son who is lactose free enjoys it, so we will continue using it on his foods but was hoping to find something the whole family enjoyed to minimize how many “special” products I have to buy just for him.

Very Similar to butter

This is a fairly decent butter substitute, we usually use margarine and this was an interesting change. I found it a bit firm, and still prefer margarine for baking but the taste was great on toast.

I purchased the non salted since the salted was sold out

I would definitely buy this product again if it was on sale I personally thought the price was a bit steep. I did get the product for free with a coupon and I'm happy to try it.

Becel en brique

J'ai reçu se produit gratuitement grâce à ChickAdvisor. Je trouve que c'est un bon produit mais trop dispendieux pour cuisiner des desserts. Par contre les résultats sont satisfaisants.

Nothing special

These bricks taste like a thicker version of the becel margarine. Good taste, but not much different. This product would be good for you if you wouldn’t have butter but you would still like to bake something like cookies. I still prefer regular butter for my baking and cooking needs. I will continue to purchase regular becel margarine for my toast.

I ended up baking with the new becel. I cant believe how it turned out. I love this product. I wanted the salted but they were sold out numerous times. So with that I tries the unsalted and I loved it.

Rempli d'huile de palme

J'ai essayé ce produit, je l'aimais et il goutait bon. Tout ceci jusqu'à ce que je regarde les ingrédients.
Ça contient 55% d'huile de palme. Ce qui est très mauvais pour la santé, j'ai trouvé ça épouvantable...

Alright Product

I received this product and it is okay! I think they have more work to do. I am used to pure butter and I will get used to it. I think I will buy it again though
