Best Cleansing balm by far

I have extremely sensitive skin however I can use this until the cows come home without any hint of irritation.

There's little to no fragrance which is perfect for me. It removes every last trace of make-up including waterproof mascara yet its so very gentle.

My skin feels beautifully soft and moisturised after using not like some that strip your skin & make it tight & itchy.

This stuff gets anything off

This melts off your make up even eye makeup yet it’s so gentle on the skin this item I can not live without, I love it. I’ve used it in my eyes to remove eye make up whilst having contact lenses in it’s suitable for sensitive skin. Highly recommend

Melts away all makeup

I love this cleansing butter so much. It's soft, very effective and good for sensitive skin which has really helped clear my breakouts! It takes away eye makeup without causing any stinging and my face is always soft after using it.

Too greasy and not suitable for my skin type

I had read a lot of positive reviews about this product on the body shop website including how good it was for people with sensitive skin. Unfortunately for me, it didn't work that well. I started using it to remove my makeup and followed the usage instructions. I wasn't very fascinated with the product initially because of how greasy it left my face feeling. On using it further I realised it helped to wash my face with a face wash after cleansing. This made the greasiness go away and at the same time enough remained to make my face feeling moisturised. It definitely was good at removing my makeup and leaving my face feeling soft so I was quite happy. But after a few days I started noticing tiny acne on my face. At first I didn't think it was this product that was causing it but with days they kept growing and I realised it had to be this since this was the only new product I started using. I had to stop using it and resort to clinical ointments to get rid of the acne.
As a final note, I wasn't extremely fond of it because of how greasy it felt. It was like applying a thinner and more creamier version of vaseline with fragrance to it.

Recommend The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter

Saw this recommended online. So ordered mine from a friend who does Body Shop at home. I was in love with it from my first try. You think you have removed all of your make up. Then you try this and realise that you hadn't. It's easy to use and smells gorgeous.

Amazing

I received this in a Beauty Box and I am so please that I did I have just finished the whole tin and it is a wonderful product at removing all your makeup including waterproof mascara it was very gentle on my skin and easy to rinse off A great cheaper alternative to the high end cleansing balms

Nice but didn’t get waterproof mascara off

This is lovely and warming on skin, left my skin feeling soft and clean! The only down side is it wouldn’t remove my waterproof mascara and wasn’t great for my sensitive eyes so I’m thinking I need to use a separate eye makeup remover anyway and just use this on the rest of my face.

Great product

This stuff is great! Removes make up amazingly and you only need a small amount, so the tin lasts ages. Don’t really like using it my eyes feels a bit stingy but that’s probably because I’m not used to it!

What can I say but I love this product and can't recommend highly enough. I was surprised at the texture as I initially expected it to be a cream and this is more like a lip balm feel to it. A small amount goes a long way! I have sensitive skin which tends to react to products and I am happy to report that I had no reactions just clean and soft skin after using it. It smells amazing.

My go-to makeup remover

I love this product! It comes in a tin & it doesn’t look like there’s much there but because you need so little, it lasts for ages! So it’s really good value for money. You smooth it on over you entire face and then wipe it off (I use a type of flannel) & your make up comes off in one wipe-including your eye make up & mascara! Part of its name is butter & it almost does feel like butter on your face as it melts on your skin - when you wipe it off, your skin feels so soft & moisturised it’s almost like a 2-in-1.
