Beware of sugar chunks

I like Québécois deserts so I was looking forward to this one. I enjoy eating it until, I was met with chunks of sugar in my mouth, I did not enjoy that. But other than that, the ice cream is flavourful and enjoyable.

Its okay

This ice cream flavour is VERY sweet... obviously. I see what they are trying to do here, however it just comes off too sweet. Not my favourite.......

A bit disappointed...

I was pretty excited when I got chosen to taste the new Sugar Pie flavour, but I gotta admit I was a bit disappointed by it. The best part is definitely the maple Sugar chunks, which have a pleasant texture and taste. But I was expecting something more out of the ice cream than its being just another normal maple sugar ice cream. I would have liked it to have bits of actual sugar pie in it, which, to me, is quite different than maple sugar. You see, in my family, sugar pie was never made with maple syrup. Instead, it's always been made out of brown sugar, heavy cream and butter, giving it a yummy taste that differs a lot from maple syrup. And it's more of that taste I was hoping to find in this flavour. All in all, I found that this product was way too sweet for me, and not tasty enough. And like I said to my boyfriend, I didn't really have any joy eating it, so I won't buy it again. Sorry Breyers!
