Dark chocolate and nuts mmmm....

I really like dark chocolate much more than I like milk chocolate. This particular dark chocolate I find is somewhat lacking in robust flavour but for those just stepping into dark chocolate it is good as it is fairly similar to the milk bars. It does not taste burnt as the name says rather the nuts are roasted and add a nice crunch to the chocolate experience.

Milder Dark Chocolate with Crunchy Nuts

I tried this for the first time yesterday and it was pretty good. I find the dark chocolate is not an overly bitter type, as it has a sweet taste that comes through. The burnt almost pieces spread throughout the chocolate bar and a nice crunch to the bar. You only taste them mildly, in my opinion, so I feel it's more the crunch than the taste that they add. I would have this again.

This is the perfect chocolate to have a cup of tea with. I normally am not a fan of dark chocolate but tried this since dark chocolate is better for you than milk or white chocolate. The burnt almond adds a nice crunch and subtle flavor. There are 230 cal per 9 squares. A few pieces of this is enough to satisfy my sweet tooth, the whole bar would be too much.
