Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser is such an amazing product I recomend it to all my friends and they are also hooked. My friend's dermatologist recomended this to her and she introduced this to me.

This cleanser is great because it has a very gentle smell and does a great job ove removing make up and dirt at the end of the day. The best thing is the way it feels very clean and not slimy or soapy like many other cleansers. I've tried department store brands and drug store brands, and this is by far the best that I have tried. It cleans well yet does not leave your skin feeling dry so it is great for sensitive skin.

I introduced this to my bf and now he uses it daily as well.

Becareful not to buy the regular cleanser as it is totally different and does not work for me as it is too slimy and gentle. Make sure you get the Oily Skin Cleanser which works great on my normal /dry skin.

this product is a must have and totally worth the price!

Cetaphil is the cleanser of my youth and the one I keep coming back to. Like Chanel, it's a classic that never goes out of style. I have tried many products for my face, at all different price points, but this is the one that I keep coming back to and have vowed to continue to use until a time when it no longer works for me. It takes off my make-up, including eye-make up very effectively. I find its the only thing that treats my acne prone skin without drying it out. The only cons is that I find it's not always moisturizing enough for the harsh winter months and need some additional moisturizing reinforcements by way of a face cream. How can you go wrong with the price?

I'm an avid fan of this product, and I recommend it to all my friends, especially when they talk to me about how much their current face wash breaks them out.

My brother was the one who introduced me to this product originally, and I haven't turned back since! It's gentle, and for some it may be too gentle, but for me it's perfect. It doesn't dry me out like most facial cleansers, and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. Those that wear a bit more make-up than average might want to add make-up remover to their routine though.

Let me start off with the fact how great the actual Cetaphil company is. They have sent me free products twice, once containing a variety of samples and the second time, once again including a variety of samples and a full size gentle skin cleanser. As a company, they are the best. Polite, giving, etc. I would give them a round of applause, really.

As for the product- I think its really good and would probably work on a bunch of sensitive people's skin. Now, it didn't work for me but that is definitely NOT a fault of the products. You have to find a product that works on your unique skin and just because a product doesn't work for you, doesn't mean its bad. So yes, I would consider this a really good product. I would say the gentle skin cleanser, moisturizer, etc would probably be for people with normal/sensitive skin.

The price is good, and it also lasts a long time. You're getting good bang for your buck. The design is stylish and once again, the company itself is top notch so you know you're spending your money in a wise place that actually cares about its customers. The smell is basically non-existent, and the actual product feels very light and smooth.

Bottom line- With facial skin care products, things are a little more tricky. It's not like its just a hair elastic where it doesn't require that much to be good and it would probably work on anybody. Everybody's face is different and finding the right products and right combo is a hard thing to do. While Cetaphil didn't work for me, I think it would work very well for a lot of others. Try it out, keeping your individual skin type in mind and with a price like that and a really good, solid company behind it, I'm sure you'll be satisfied.

This cleanser is wonderful -- leaves my skin feeling smooth. I was always a department store junkie until I tried this.

I really don't think that anyone can lose with Cetaphil. It's my daily cleanser for both morning and night, and also serves as a makeup remover in a pinch. I may stray from time to time while testing out other products, but whenever my face reacts badly or is in need of calming, I end up coming back to Cetaphil. I always make sure to have one handy in the house. It's just as good as a more expensive brand such as Philosophy's Purity Made Simple - I honestly don't see the difference between them. They're both great, but if you're looking for something more cost-effective, there's nothing to lose by trying Cetaphil. It's super gentle but still leaves your skin feeling clean. I have oily skin and use it once in the morning and once in the evening (in the evening used in conjunction with a light scrub to get all the makeup off). It's great stuff.

This is a lovely product. I had used the same cleanser for years with no problems, and suddenly my skin started breaking out and becoming very sensitive. I then tried numerous complicated skin regimes to try to get my clear skin back. Finally I decided to try the less-is-more strategy. I bought Cetaphil and used only this morning and night, followed by the Cetaphil moisturizer. In a couple weeks my skin was better than ever. Lately I haven't even felt the need to wear foundation on a daily basis because my skin is so radiant and clear.
The only con I should add is- If you wear a lot of makeup, I'd use a makeup cleansing cloth to remove the majority of your makeup first and then wash your face with Cetaphil. It is a very gentle product and probably wouldn't remove your makeup fully if you have a lot on.

my skin is sensitive, oily, and acne prone. this cleanser was a miracle for me when my skin was reacting badly to a harsh cleanser. within two days of switching to cetaphil, my skin was calm and all the redness and flaking was completely gone. i have used this cleanser for several months and it is keeping my skin calm and clear. the gentleness is very important to me, since i'm using differin and my skin can get dry and irritated while still breaking out. cetaphil has helped balance my skin, although i still occasionally get oily. however, i definitely recommend it for people with irritated, acne prone skin.

I tend to have sensitive and oily skin so I pick up the Cetaphil cleanser that is marked as 'oily to normal' rather then 'normal to dry' skin and for me this makes a huge difference! I've tried both and while they both work well, clean great, are very gentle and non-irritating the 'oily to normal' cleanser really does help reduce the oil buildup and also cuts through makeup wonderfully so doubles as a really gentle and effective makeup remover! I would recommend this for EVERYONE not just those with sensitive skin because even though your skin may be able to take the more perfumed or harsher cleansers why put more then just the bare minimum on your face if it works great? I've been able to find GIANT bottles of this stuff at Costco in Canada, so if you're looking to stock up and save a few bucks check it out!

I had this recommended to me from my dermatologist, since I have very sensitive skin. It doesn't irritate, and it is very soothing, and you don't need a prescription! A basic bottle size (the smallest they sell) will last you a long time! In one pump you get a lot of product that will cover more than your face if you wish, it leaves your face feels smooth, and clean. :)
