This is a slightly higher priced product than other hair dyes but also of a slightly higher quality. I have grey hair and have used several different hair dyes in the past. Most end up washing out in about 2-4 washes and the grey shows through and then I tried Perfect 10 and this product has 100% grey coverage as they claim except that what is not mentioned is that if you have alot of grey on parts of your head, those parts will turn out slightly lighter than the colour on the box. Regrowth "highlights" look a little odd on dark overall hair. Best results would be to go darker than your normal hair colour or the same shade especially if you have lots of grey root regrowth.

I received my Perfect 10 free product sample coupon Thursday April 5th from Clariol. Took me a couple days ,but i did get to the store and manage to dye my hair (jet blk) Easter day lol. I have a few good thing to say about this product, but also a few things that could be improved. Before getting to it i would like to say I love Clairol and have been using nice n easy for years, I am in no way bashing the company. So here its goes (the good# 1. its fast i mean fast 10 mins..and covered all my blonde with no problem. 2. I found that it did not stain my skin as badly as most products any stain that was left behind was easily removed with ashes. 3. It seems that the conditioner that i love so much has not been changed good ...call Clairol :). Ok the not so great. 1. 10 mins flys watch the clock ladies.I did a root touch up, but like to apply product (nice n easy) the ends of my hair 10-15 mins before i wash it out just to give it a little shine ,also I find the colour does fades a bit over time. With perfect 10 this was tricky. I did my roots left it for 6 mins...then applied to the rest of my hair. I found that by the time i was done applying the product to the rest of my hair it had already been on my roots for 10 mins. If you only do your roots then this will not be a problem for you. 2. I did not care for the applicator i found it got tangled in my hair while trying to apply the product. Maybe i was just doing it wrong? Also my roots were about 1/2" long it may have the been easier with shooter roots to cover? 3. The smell "wow" it's a lot stronger then nice n easy. 4. i found that it was harder on my hair. While rinsing it out my hair felt straw like, but after applying the conditioner twice it softened up. So my overall... for the price i do not think i would purchase this product unless i was in a hurry ...example, u have a date that night, wedding or just hitting the bar. I priced it out at Walmart it's 15.97 with tax, nice n easy is about 8.00. To pay the extra 8.00 dollars all the time would be silly. It does the same thing just faster, but in my case this was not really a great thing.The product works great and I am happy with my hair.

This hair product is great. It is a bit more expensive than usual drugstore hair dye but it is worth it. I have darker hair color so I purchased a very light brown color and the colors turned up perfect. I love the way how my hair smelled great after using the conditioner. My hair came out soft and there is nothing really bad about this product while comparing it with other drugstore product. This is one of the best hair products i have ever used.

I love this product and used it for a my hair regularly for about 7 months. However I find that the natural instincts vibrant hair color by the same brand "clairol" works the same as this hair color. They both have identical results and color in 10 minutes. I never liked/used the grey brush applicator that came with this hair color, which is the only thing that this hair color comes with that the other doesn't. I would recommend anyone who uses this color to try the natural instincts line because it works identical for a better price. The conditioners even smell the same & you get a bonus 2 week color refresh treatment with the other line.

Clairol Perfect 10 was very easy to use. It comes with a comb that makes applying color to your hair, very easy. it smelled nice and I only had to keep it in for 10 minutes for it to work.

I haven't dyed my hair at home for a while, but when I did I used this. It wasn't too harsh and was really easy to use. My colour (blonde) always came out similar to what the box said it would. My hair gets brassy really easy, so while this product didn't prevent that, I didn't expect it to as even salon colour tends to go yellow on me after a bit. Easy to use, nice colour, not too damaging, that's what make a great at home colour kit in my opinion.

I used this product a few years ago to get rid of my fading highlights. I chose the Dark Brown shade as my hair is ALMOST black but I didn't want the fake goth black hair. I like that it only took 10 minutes without an overbearing odour! I started using it on my mother who has a ton of white hair - same shade - completely covers her white hair and lasts for at least four months.

I love how fast and easy this haircolour is to use. It seems to cover the greys ok but the fact that I can colour my hair so fast makes it so much nicer to use. The applicator is easy to use and the smell of the product is not as overwelming as many of the other brands. The conditioner is amazing and makes my hair feel so nice.

I love the perfect 10 hair dyes especially dark brown. I've used them about 6 times but thats just the thing it fades, but my hair is a lighter brown and had blonde in it. But i like that i never notice the roots its just blends or fades to my natural color. But i actually like the smell some are so harsh and this isn't one of them. And the perfect 10 conditioner that comes with it is amazing.
