good dry shampoo

I've used various dry shampoos but have always previously stuck to batiste as it is so easily available and can often get it on offer, however I find with that dry shampoo it leaves a white residue and doesn't always work effectively on my hair. I tried this dry shampoo from colab and have found there is no white residue at all left on my hair, it doesnt dry my hair out too much but just gives it an extra day or two of life when I'm in between washing it. It also has a really lovely fragrance to it too meaning your hair is also left smelling good after use. Highly recommend.

Pleasantly surprised!

Having dark brown / black hair, I am hesitant to try dry shampoo for fear of the white powder-y look most dry shampoos have (especially if they're not specifically marketed towards people with dark hair). I was pleasantly surprised by Colab's Dry Shampoo in Original as its product is truly invisible! Application is very easy - just spray on oily roots and finger comb or brush through after. I found that the product didn't "disappear" (stop working) after brushing compared to another brand I've tried.

The original has a decent scent, but it is somewhat strong and might not be suited to everyone's preference. I also found that it wasn't as effective at disguising oily bangs as they still looked slightly oily after liberal spraying.

Overall, it's the best dry shampoo I've tried so far and I love that it is invisible and quite affordable! I would definitely recommend it to those who have dark hair and don't mind relatively strong scents.

Great for Dark Hair

I found this product to be great for my dark hair. It didn’t leave white powder showing on my scalp and roots. It’s a nice big bottle so you get lots of product. I found I had to use a bit more product than normal. The results lasted throughout the day. The scent is pleasant and leaves hair refreshed. I didn’t find the scent lingers. It’s nice to be able to use on dark hair as some dry shampoo products leave hair with white marks. Would recommend.

Goes on clear! Finally!

I have always been a fan and user of dry shampoos, as I prefer to go a few days between washes. White residue left behind has always been a problem - until now! I love that Colab goes on sheer and clear, even when I sprayed the bottle closer to my head than recommended (20cm). It has less of a chalky powdery application than other dry shampoos, so it definitely looks more natural against my dark strands. My hair felt really soft after use too. I love the refreshing scent - the original formula has bergamot, rose, musk, and magnolia. This brand is also animal friendly, so its a WIN-WIN all around. #gotitfree

Solid dry shampoo

I like this dry shampoo. I can be quite picky with my products but this one worked for me. Added tons of volume to my hair while combating greasiness.

Works Well, No White Residue

I don't use dry shampoo often but I would use this in a pinch. It smells great and it does what it's supposed to. It helps absorb the oil after a few days without a wash and it does not feel heavy. It also does not leave any white residue like some dry shampoos can. I would recommend it!

Greasy hair be gone!

I enjoyed trying this dry shampoo. I don't use dry shampoo that often but when I do, I expect it not to leave my hair feeling heavy and weighed down. This did not do that. It gave my hair an instant refresh. However, I prefer the volume that comes with the other version.

Huge fan of dry shampoos and Colab does not let me down. An instant boost that keeps my hair feeling fresher for longer. Does an excellent job at absorbing the oil.

I liked this dry shampoo but didn’t love it

This was a decent dry shampoo - it feels high quality, does not leave residue and is effective but I just didn’t like it as much as other products I have used. It doesn’t seem to work as effectively and I like the scent of other products I use more. That being said there is nothing wrong with this dry shampoo and it does the job. I just don’t think I would purchase again because it seems costly and I like other brands more.
