Love everything about DMC floss in terms of quality but the colour transition in these is fantastic and I wouldn’t deviate from DMC for any project in terms of floss!!

DMC has been around for 270 years, and sell so many amazing threads for your embroidery, plastic canvas, and cross stitching.

I really like the Variegated Floss because it goes from the lightest of the color to the darkest of the color, usually in 4 shades. It works perfect for doing water for example, as you can just keep stitching without having to tie off and thread a new floss strand of another color. Also, it takes the guess work of trying to match a lighter or darker color within the same shade and tonal value. You get the exact same amount of floss as any other bobbin has too. If you buy each bobbin individually from Michael's it is 89 cents each. Very affordable.
