Was slightly disappointed in this product. Compared to other like products it falls short I found it didn't live up to the hype. My hair didn't feel any more nourished or soft and I wasn't fond of the scent and feel.

I was excited to try this oil treatment. I had never tried this type of product because of my thin hair. I was surprised that by adding a very little amount it did help my hair to look healthier and shinier. Unfortunately, I do have to be careful not to put too much but by keeping it small is good.

I was really excited to try this oil! I love macadamia oil for my dry hair but unfortunately was disappointed to see the ingredients in this product. I am not a fan of the smell, it smells exactly like baby oil in my opinion - most likely because the second ingredient is mineral oil. However, I do believe the product works - I'm not sure how much it actually repaired my hair but it did feel nourished after using it. I have very thick, wavy hair and this helped to tame it. One thing I did appreciate was that it came in a glass bottle (Love that!). Overall I feel like there are better products on the market but Dove is on the right track - change the formulation and I would try it again.

When I apply on wet hair when it dries it gives my hair a soft & bouncy hair without weighing it down. But when I use this on dry hair it makes my hair really greasy & unmanagable. Only a few drops are needed. Has a nice smell reminds me of baby powder. Compared to other type hair treatment I have found better than this.

Thanks to Chick Advisor for being able to try this product. I have never used an oil for my hair before. You put a few pumps into your hand and rub through the bottom length of your hair. It gives it a nice soft feel for your hair and still looks nice throgh out the day

J'ai les cheveux très fins et ils viennent très rapidement huileux en temps normal. J'ai tout de même essayé le produit reçu gratuitement mais j'ai conclu que l'huile n'est vraiment pas fait pour mon type de cheveux. Peut-être serait-il efficace pour des gens avec les cheveux plus secs?!?

It seems quite nourishing for my hair but I always have to wash my hair at the end of the day after using it because it starts making my hair look a little greasy, already have a regular problem with my hair getting that way so not liking that this has the same effect.

I received this as part of the Dove review box, and decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, and try it in conjunction with the shampoo/conditioner.... mistake!
I used to use Moroccan Oil & Argan oil regularly, so i am no stranger to hair oils... but this one caused the ends of my hair to almost clump together. I used less than recommended, and have thick curly hair - and this did nothing positive.
The smell however, is intoxicating!! I love it!, sadly, the scent alone is not enough.

I don't see any difference on my hair between when i apply this oil and when i don't. It's just not worth it in my case. I wouldn't spend money on this oil when there's no change. I'm a bit disappointed.

I recently found this product in my swag bag from Elevate Lounge event after my daughter raved about it. Wow! What a discovery. I no longer want to use my old macadamian oil because the Dove brand is so effective and beautifully fragrant.
