I wasn’t as satisfied as I had expected

I received this product recently and I was so excited to try it, as it gets very cold and dry here and my hair dries out and gets flakey. I had hoped dove would clear this up and make my hair soft and strong. However, I have yet to notice a difference :(

Nothing special

I received this free from ChickAdvisor. I personally love the brand Dove and really wanted to love this product. But honestly it lacked what I look for in conditioners. This one has a formula that is quite thin and I think you would need to use a lot of the product on your hair. Second, it didn’t really do a good job detangling or defrizzing my hair. And lastly I found it to be more fragant than their other products which are more mild. I won’t recommend this product at all.

Maybe not the best conditioner for my hair type...

My daughter and I, who both have long, thick, curly hair that tends to be dry, both tried this conditioner for a week. We had nearly identical experiences with this product.

First, the pros: it smells divine and the scent lingers even after rinsing and drying your hair; it comes in a tube, which we prefer over a bottle as it is much easier to squeeze out every last drop.

The cons: the texture is quite watery, perhaps best suited for fine or thin hair; it doesn’t help with detangling and doesn’t soften as much as we had hoped it would.

We will stick with our regular brand of conditioner.
