Love Essie nail polish. By far, it's way better then other polish's. When applied it always leaves a nice shine and goes on so nice and isn't clumpy. Goes on easy and every stroke goes on evenly. The variety of colors Essie has is fabulous and has a rainbow of unique colors. If I had a choice between Essie or another brand of nail polish I would definitely chose Essie.
I recently picked up the blue neon polish "DJ Play that Song" from The SuperStore. The collection was on sale at $7 each. When I sampled the colour on a white sheet, I liked that it was very pigmented, had a matte quality, and true to the bottle, BUT... when I applied it on my nails, it wasn't as opaque as I wanted it to be and not at all like the sample. I was disappointed by the quality. The formula was very runny and went on transparent. The first coat was streaky and I doubt it was from the brush. It took me 3 coats just to get it close to the bottle colour. It dries like a sharpie/ washable marker. I even tried a white base coat first but the blue picked up the white and still resulted in the marker effect. On the plus, it is fast-drying. Overall, I didn’t favor this because of its inconsistency; however, I love the colour and matte effect.
Essie is the best nail polish line. Always the best colors. Although the price is quite dumb($10 for a bottle), I still cannot find another line that offers such great colors.
I have bought many shades of Essie Nail Polish and have been impressed with every one of them. They don't come out clumpy like a lot of nail polishes do, the paint is nice and creamy and glides on well. They have so many beautiful shades, tons to go with any outfit. My favorite is the Mint Candy Apple, although I love so many others as well. The price is reasonable, I paid $8 each, which isn't quite as cheap as i'd like but still cheaper than others I have purchased. The quality of this nail polish is amazing and I would defiantly recommend it.
Wish it wasn't as expensive as it is. As much as I love the color selection and staying power of the polish, I just wish the brush was a bit bigger (like Sally Hansen or Essence sized). I'll still buy it though!
love this nail polish, the colour selection is amazing and i the brush is easy to use, goes on evenly with not streaks. The price point is quite reasonable and they are easy to find. My go to nail polish
New favourite nailpolish brand! All the colours are amazing, the brush makes putting it on really easy, and it lasts for a really long time. I find the lighter shades go on the best, some of the darker ones are a little thicker and i find layering them properly takes a while and they tend to chip more. But all the pastels are amazing, I always get compliments, and they last for about a week and a half...which is a really long time on your hands!
My favourite brand of nail polish! Essie makes a high quality product at a very reasonable price ($9-11 per bottle). My fave colours include Chinchilly, Fifth Avenue, Ballet Slippers and Plumberry.
After trying just about every nail polish brand I could get my hands on, I finally decided to give Essie a try. I was always hesitant due to the slightly expensive price, but the quality of the product made it definitely worth it. Especially if combined with a good quality top coat, this brand of nail polish does not chip as easily as others. I actually tested this out by painting two nails with two different brands and going about a high activity day and the Essie nail polish did not chip, and the other brand did. My favourite go-to colours: Lilacism, Turquiose & Caicos, and Bikini So Teeny.
